My wife and I were sitting on a balcony of our room at the Inn at Spanish Head and were admiring the surf and the stars and how warm it was for April. I looked up and saw three dimly lit orbs flying in a perfectly spaced, triangular formation. It was hard to tell whether or not they were connected. They were orbs with a dark line running through them at the halfway point of the circle, as if someone had put a band around a golf ball. All bands were parallel to the ground. It was dark so I could not see if they were connected or not. I motioned to my wife to look up and she saw them, too. It was totally silent, although any noise may have been drowned out by the sound of the surf. These orbs flew south to north right along the coastline very quickly.

Seaside, OR
A pair of sparkling orange lights, silently hovered and slowly moved over us. As I walked around the corner, I lost visibility for 10 seconds. When I saw them again, I saw one vanish in superspeed away in the night sky. The other, still hovering and moving slowly above the area stayed around. Got in my car and the light was still hovering the neighborhood as I drove off. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

I was out running thinking about how much I hate Chemtrails, when I notice what I first thought was a airplane. Then after looking closer realized there were five craft flying in formation. 2 in front flying parallel to each other perfectly. Then 3 in the back which were changing formation but occasionally taking a v-shape formation, also constantly changing their formation at one time they were even all lined up straight but flying so close that I think it would be considered exstreamly dangerous. I saw them fly for about a whole minute they were very light and coloration almost White. They flew east to west. They flew lower that the clouds. The 2 in front did not change formation the whole time. The strangest part about the whole experience were the three crafts in such close proximity to each other changing formation I just don't know of any craft that could do that.

Seaside, OR
Noticed a bright Orange flickering light HIGH in the sky above Seaside, OR. Recorded a minute or so when I spun around to track it and noticed a second one over the ocean. Looked identical and both were moving South by SW. Faster clip than a helicopter or most planes. Looked like flying fire: flickering from Orange to Orange/White.

Summer Lake, OR
We were fishing Ana Reservoir and camping for one night, when I looked to the east and saw two bright orange orbs rotating around each other. By the time I got the attention of my friend, there was only one orb left. The light from this object was unlike any one would typically see from stars, satellites, or aircraft. It was very bright and had a glow all around it. This orb then appeared and disappeared erratically, moved incredible distances (20 miles or more) in seconds, and moved through the partly scattered clouds for about 45 minutes. An estimated distance to the object would be 30 miles based on the clouds it was near. This experience was awesome and now the second time my friends and I have seen objects that defy common physics and technological limitations we face on earth.

April 9, 2016 · 9:20 PM · FLASH
Salem, OR
While observing the moon tonight at about 9:20 pm PST my daughter said, "Look, I saw a flash in the sky over there three times." I looked where she was pointing, low in the western sky, and then I also saw a bright white "Flash." She then said it was moving. As we both watched it would randomly flare at intermittent intervals with random duration and intensity. It climbed to South of overhead and continued to a point South of Jupiter before it was no longer seen by us. We observed this for 5-6 minutes. It was bright white in color and would flare intensely and then the next flare may be dim. The duration of each flare was also random in its length of duration. It moved through the sky slower than most satellites.

I am a male, 63 years old, with 20/20 vision (corrected) and in reasonably good health. I live in a small town on the Southern Oregon coast, and I was in front of my house last night, viewing the night sky, and thinking about nothing in particular. The sky was crystal clear, with lots of stars and star formations visible to the naked eye, and I observed Orion’s Belt, the Big Dipper and Little Dipper, to mention just a few star formations. As a reference, my house is roughly 90 feet above sea level and the front of my house faces exactly northwest (plus or minus 1 degree). At around 10:30 PM, I was staring at the night sky and saw a flash of light, directly in front of me (facing northwest) at an angle of elevation of approximately 45 degrees. The diameter and brightness of the flash was close to the same diameter and level of brightness as one of the brighter stars I was viewing at the time, and I assumed that a passing cloud had blocked it out of my vision. That said, there were NO clouds in the sky last night. The flash appeared, stayed illuminated for roughly two or three tenths of a second, and then disappeared. About one second later, another flash of light appeared, roughly four or five degrees below where the first flash appeared. It was the same diameter and the same level of brightness and duration as the first flash. About five seconds later, the same pattern appeared again and in the same location and same angle of elevation. The distance between the flashes stayed constant; roughly four or five degrees of elevation. This pattern of flashes continued, repeating every five seconds or so, staying in the same location in the sky. The third time I saw the two flashes of light, I pointed my index finger where they appeared in the sky, and held my arm as steady as I could, just so I would have a point of reference. After about three minutes, the flashes started moving south very slowly along the same angle of elevation (approximately 45 degrees). When they moved to the SSW position in the sky, from my northwest facing position, they then started slowing moving higher in elevation. When they reached approximately a 60 degree angle of elevation, which took approximately three minutes, they stopped and stayed in the same relative position (still pointing my index finger at them) and stayed in that position for another three or four minutes. The flashes of light then started moving very slowly further south. There is a large pine tree blocking my view, just beyond the SW corner of my property, and when the tree started to block my view of the flashing lights, I got up from the chair I was sitting in and walked further northwest so I could see the lights better. They continued in a southerly direction and when they got directly south of me and over the Pacific Ocean, they disappeared. I continue standing there for a few more minutes, but they didn’t reappeared. At no time during this ‘event’ did I hear ANY sound; no near or far off jet engines from either a high or low altitude commercial or military plane. We have a very small airport north of our town, but rarely do planes land there at night. They are all small, privately owned planes as well, primarily prop-driven, although there is at least one small Learjet that we see occasionally. There is no noise or air pollution here (no industries) and with a population of only 6000, the noise level at night is VERY low. It’s a small and very quiet town, especially at night. On nights when the weather is good, I sit in front of my house and stare at the sky, mostly because we can see SO many stars at night here. It is a star gazer’s paradise and I know several people who have telescopes, although I do not. I’ve never seen anything before like what I saw last night. If it was ONE object, it must have been HUGE. That said and given the relative distance between the flashing lights, it appeared that it MUST have been two objects, whatever they were. Whatever it was, it was flying, it wasn’t making a sound and I could not identify it, which I guess technically makes it a UFO. Saw a red blinking light at a distance, about 20-40 degrees up from the horizon. However it began to glow orange. It looked like it was nearly heading my direction (it was to my northeast and miles away), and I saw at least three glowing objects drop from the main object. It distinctly seemed like possibly a burning plane. But then, after about three objects fell away (They fell straight down which made it seem like the "parent object" was heading my direction) the glow faded away in about 3 second. I was on the phone when I first saw it turn an orange color, tried to get it onto video but couldn't find it on my screen (too many street lights). It only lasted maybe 1-2 minutes.

Portland, OR
At roughly 8:55pm, Friday, April 1st, 2016, I was standing in my backyard looking up at Polaris to the north and Orion to the S/SW, admiring the clear sky and beautiful weather of the evening. Suddenly, I noticed a very bright and solid light originating from just to the right of the star Saiph, in the Orion constellation. The direction of travel was S/SW to N/NE. It was travelling quickly enough to be thought of as a low flying plane, only there were no position or navigation lights or even a strobe light to be seen. Just a perfectly solid bright white light that did not change in shape or luminosity as it changed its position in the sky. There was no sound at all. Quite surprisingly, it looked as if the light was drifting ever so slightly to the east, in the same way a gliding bird might be moved by wind currents. This took the object directly above me. There it slightly paused for about 1 second as it changed direction and moved in a very straight line directly to the East. I called my wife and we both watched the light, which continued to make no sound and show no other lighting other than the constant bright white light, until it got smaller and smaller and disappeared into the distance. About 10 minutes later, I returned to the backyard with my Sony A7000 fitted with a 55-210 zoom lens, set to maximum zoom. Within one minute I saw a faint object flying directly South to North, exactly from where the original sighting began by Orion. I recorded video as I watched the dim object suddenly grow in brightness (and apparent size, but hard to know if this was just a function the increased glow). The object was constantly in and out of focus, as the Autofocus struggled to keep up. Again, about 10 minutes later, I returned to the backyard…this time with the camera set to manual infinity focus…and I saw a small faint object moving from the North/Northeast toward the Southeast. I started recording and called my wife to come back out. I had no tripod with me. The object all but disappeared and had been blindly pointing the camera, by hand, at the blank sky where I had roughly last seen it…when suddenly, it flashed in brightness and we could see it rapidly “expand” and “contract” after each flash. Most flashes were very bright, but others were more subtle and undulating. This did not last long. Perhaps one minute. This last sighting occurred in the same portion of sky that the initial object had disappeared in to. I continued to watch and record the sky, but it never flashed again, and I saw no other objects in any other portion of the sky. I have video of the last two sightings. The last sighting is the best quality due to the manual infinity focus, but they both lacked a tripod so it is unfortunately very shaky.

One larger orange oblong shape was extremely bright for awhile then shut the lights down but could still make out something. None of these seemed to move very much. Looked at a couple through the spotting scope and the actual flash of the lights illuminated in the scope. We drove around for 1.5 hours to get a better look and watched them for 2 hours. We could see a few over Scappoose also. I found some videos on youtube of the same thing we seen.

I saw a VERY WHITE bright light descending towards earth then it vanished. It was in fog. I biked home quickly. We have attempted to contact the young person who submitted the report, to inquire whether it is a serious report, or a hoax. He assures us that it is a serious report. PD

Woke up feeling agitated and was drawn to look outside. When I looked west I saw a flashing red light very low on the horizon. It appeared to hover between the north and south Sister's mountains. It was too low to be a plane and it was stationary. I began to pray and ask for protection from Jesus. The flashing lights stopped and it became a steady white light, that grew dimmer and dimmer. The next two nights I have looked in the same area and have not seen anything similar.

I was looking up at the stars while walking the dog. I saw the object flying, it looked like it was descending quickly and then stopped and hovered. The whole thing was red and did not have any blinking light like an airplane. I stopped to watch it and then noticed that there were two orange ones, that were either smaller, or further away. From my perspective, it looked like a upside down triangle form.

We were going on the highway north towards Salem. I'm pretty sure it was around Albany, we saw a bright white light. As we got closer we noticed it was hovering and not moving. We passed the light and it was so close we could see intricate detail like lines on the surface. It was extremely high tech and had three lights on each point. After we passed it, we watched it from behind and it starting moving across the highway behind us, and had a bright white light towards our direction. After a few minutes it disappeared. I'm hoping someone else saw this and caught a video because my phone memory was full, and I didn't have enough time to get one

Was outside last night locking the outbuildings and having a smoke. Saw a yellow flame moving slowly from the east right at the (partial) cloud level. Thought it was a meteor at first, but the flame kept going. It headed towards a almost stationary green thing, about as bright as a big star, and they appeared to circle each other and headed lazily south. Then two more "flames" came from the east, one after the other, and followed the green "star" and first "flame" which was much brighter than the rest. The brightest one illuminated the clouds a little, the rest were above the clouds and didn't illuminate them. They continued slowly south until they disappeared from view due to clouds & mountains. Don't think these were Chinese lanterns (but I've never seen one) because they were moving contrary to the clouds. Clouds were moving towards the NNE at the time. There is a commercial air corridor here, but the aircraft only go north and south. Took a phone video of the last part of the event when they were moving away, but it's poor quality, all that can be seen are white dots.
