The report, as filed
One larger orange oblong shape was extremely bright for awhile then shut the lights down but could still make out something. None of these seemed to move very much. Looked at a couple through the spotting scope and the actual flash of the lights illuminated in the scope. We drove around for 1.5 hours to get a better look and watched them for 2 hours. We could see a few over Scappoose also. I found some videos on youtube of the same thing we seen.

About 22:43, it dropped suddenly and quickly and reappeared about ten minutes later. The sight is continuing to be monitored.

Strange movement, jogs and jags. Stayed close to the same area in the sky for a long period of time. No noise and was above my home. Guessing a drone of a sort. Why it hung out in the same area for such a long time? Would turn and light would dim and then turn and have a bright whitish blue light. Shot some video.
