I reported a sighting a few months ago and have basically been seeing the same things off and on for awhile. My previous one was the "rather not say" when asked what town. Reason being I come from a very for lack of a better term "traditional minded" area and I don't want to be known that I have been seeing lights lately. Since that first report I have been noticing the same styled balls of light on occassion going through a certain field by my house and dropping so low to the ground I thought a few times the lights would actually land. They would hover there and then abruptly shoot quickly up and fly away. That's the back story to tonight. Again like the last report, I went out to have a cigarette and saw two gigantic lights one slightly above the other. At this point admittingly I suspected it be a show again and watched. They moved in a jittery fashion in zigzags up and down, "U" shapes, and diamond shapes. Also they would move straight up and down. The bottom one was more active. They would get brighter and larger, then dim to almost nothing. The movements of the two didn't seem to have a pattern together. After awhile I looked to my side and at first it looked like a ton of smaller lights were slowly gliding through the sky as well, but I noticed the moon also looked like it might be moving in the same direction and decided it was just an effect of fast moving clouds passing through. This made me wonder if that could be the case with the big lights so I turned to their direction again and looked at all the stars there, the stars in that direction didn't seem to be nearly as effected with the cloud movement and I also realized their effect made stars look like they only went in one specific direction regardless. Not up, down, zigzag etc. That also made me wonder if the clouds might have something to do with the dimming and brightening, but I noticed they would brighten and dim when there were no clouds and in fact tended to get very bright when a cloud passed them and could still be seen moving about, then as before would stop, then move again. They would change from white, yellow, blue, green and red, but mostly just white and blue. After about 20 minutes I went inside because it was to cold to stay out. I would at this point like to know what it is I'm seeing the past few months. I do know there is an air force base nearby, and they may be some sort of weird new plane? Driving south on IL 130 north of Villa Grove IL. Saw light in low lying clouds. From a distance it appeared stationary. I thought it was a light on top of a tower. As I approached it, I noticed a farmer in his field working after dark. The object was hovering above the farmer in a low lying cloud. The object appeared to have two bright lights aiming north. Although the object was hovering, it was also slowly moving northward. It could have been a helicopter but if not, I have no idea what it was. It was not a star, a planet, an airplane, or a jet. I would have pulled over and watched it but I had my wife and kids in the car. She told me to move my ass down the road. She said I was going to get us all killed. Always wanted to see a UFO. I think I finally saw one and I didn't get to enjoy it. Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD

My first encounter occurred on Oct 15, exactly one week from my second encounter, if that's what you wanna call it, on Oct 22. The 15th and the 22nd I awoke abruptly at exactly 2:30 am due to some incredibly vivid dreams. As I awoke from these dreams both times, I found myself looking straight out my bedroom window. The first occurance I was by myself and it was a very clear dark night. I observed a light in the southeastern sky that appeared to be moving what I would call a curly q formation. I tried to debunk what I was witnessing to be a satellite or just a star that maybe my mind was playing some optical illusions on me. I watched this object stay in the same exact part of the sky until about 430 am which was about when I dosed back off. I know it wasn't a satellite because as the nights sky continued to slip off to the west these object continued its dancing and swirling in the night sky that appeared to every once in awhile give off a red shot of light imi! nate from the bottom. I couldn't make out any definitive shape or size. Whatever it was it was very bright, very fast, and very high in the sky. On Oct 22, I observed the exact same thing visually. Only thing different this time is I had my son who is 7 awake at the exact same time I did do to vivid dreams. My girlfriend was with me as well I'd had told her about my incident the week prior which she laughed off. Not this time I awoke her and made her observe and confirm what I was seeing. She was creeped out to say the least. I observed the object for another hour maybe hour and a half before I slipped back off to sleep. I tried taking pictures. All I got was some poor low quality dots on screen. Tried using my hd camcorder but the object was just to far off to get a good focus. Someone somewhere had to witness this as well. I live out in the sticks though so maybe I'm the only nut in the country. I'd just like to know if there's ever been a similar incident or maybe a video! I could relate to.thank you. I was moving cars in the driveway when I noticed it between 2 trees. It changed different shapes from saucer shape to circle shape. It was as big as a moon. I couldn't locate the moon that night. I do see aircraft flying in the area almost everyday between those 2 trees. This object was not moving. I have never seen the moon ever between those 2 trees in my whole life. It was changing shape and disappeared. It then reappeared so I took my camera out and took 4 photos of the object. It then disappeared and took 2 more photos of the area it was located. My only explanation was that maybe a very thin cloud that I could barely see had frozen water inside the cloud and the moon that I could not locate was glaring moon light off of it. There wasn't any wind almost and maybe the wind was moving about 12 MPH. The reason why I think it wasn't frozen water in a thin cloud was why would it form a perfect circle. I did also take a photo of a aircraft flying in that direction near it. I never see aircraft flying in that direction in that location in the sky. I waited about 15 minutes outside to see if it would come back but clouds that where coming in ended up covering the whole sky. I was gonna take a drive to see if I can locate the moon but the clouds came in super thick. I have photos of it changing shape in a video on Youtube. I titled it UFO October 22, 2015 Oak Lawn Illinois. I titled it that but maybe shouldn't of because I wasn't sure if it really was a UFO. It was very quiet on the rhodes at 12:31 midnight having maybe only seen 1 to 3 cars drive down the street between 12:27 midnight to 12:52 midnight. It was hours after the Chicago Cubs got eliminated from the playoffs. If it happened 32 minutes earlier it would have still have been Marty Mcfly day. On October 19th, 2015, at approximately 7:45 PM, I observed a glowing orange object, circular to oval in shape, moving south to north in the sky for approximately one minute, until it disappeared. It appeared to be flying at an altitude of 3000 AGL. There was no sound, no exhaust trail of any kind and it was moving quite fast without any navigation lights observed. I am a retired pilot, and this did not appear to be an airplane or helicopter of any kind. This incident occurred just slightly west of Musgrove Park in Olney, IL. Report from pilot. PD

Fist I saw one standing still, thought it was Mars, But it was too big and bright to be Mars. Then I saw another moving slowly by. The one moving by I thought was a plane, but planes don’t have an orange red glow. I went inside to get my family, when they came out they were gone. When I came out again 10 minutes later I saw three moving slowly close together in a falling pattern. My whole family came out this time to see them. They eventually faded out.

Driving down 111 in Pontoon Beach and saw coming from the southeast sky orange lights in a non stable formation. They continued for about 15 mins. They were moving north and then disappearing. I was driving north on Rt 47 on the way to the Ford Dealer in Huntley, Illinois. As I approached the intersection of Rt 47 and and Rt 20, I saw an orange, round ball in the sky directly west. It was flying low enough that I could tell it was not a balloon (there was no basket and the shape was completely spherical), and it also was not a weather balloon. The sky was clear, and there were clouds in sight. As I passed under the bridge at Rt 47 and Rt 20, the orange object appeared in the sky directly north. It had apparently moved quickly, as it was not in the west anymore. It seemed to be perfectly still and observing. It made no noise. I tried to take a picture and clearly saw the object in the viewfinder of my phone's camera. However, when I went to view the picture later, the object was not there. I showed the pictures to a second person, who was also able to confirm that the orange sphere was not visible.

Was sitting outside when in the south sky I saw a bright light move from east to west. It was like an extremely slow moving meteor. Only in was right above the horizon and went across the sky, unlike any meteorite I've ever seen. It was almost like the light skipped. It wasnt a streak where the light is solid but, rather like a dash of light. Quite a bit more aircraft in the sky afterwards than normal. At 11 p.m. on 10-04-2015, out of the northeast from Joliet, IL, from approximately the Lockport area, a bright orange burning ball of light was heading southwest towards the Morris, IL, direction. It was about 1k off the ground and was on a steady path directly over my house, as it passed being as bright as it was had no blinking lights to indicate an airplane and I could see no shape what so ever, just a burning orange light with an almost flame like flicker behind it. As it passed there was no trail but made a steady very low "shhhhh" like sound. As it went over there was an odd glow that faded as it continued on then it disappeared. I called the local police to see if there were any reports, but they didnt know anything about it. And no, I'm not crazy.

No noise or motor sounds. This is the 2nd time I have seen this but the first was in July but it was further away. Was much closer this time. So close that I thought it see me & I ran back in my apt. Scared me, as I was leaving for work...no one around...went back out after 10-15minutes and it was gone. Kept saying what the hell is that? It was August 28, about 2 am. It was the same day there was an eclipse/blue moon. My friends were driving me home. On my way there I saw lights in the sky occasionally. I then saw a UFO with blue lights in the air next to a house. I told everyone in the car but they just laughed but one of my friends saw something blue but he wasn't really paying attention. I was really frustrated that they didn't believe me. I got dropped off home. When I went inside I heard a strange noise coming from a block away. I decided to go check it out since I knew I saw a UFO. I walked over to where I was hearing the noise. It was coming from an alley in front of my friends house. I saw a UFO! I got scared so I went inside my friends house without permission. I stayed there watching it from the door. This UFO was a different one from what I saw earlier. This one was white and it was shaped weird. And had different color lights around it and on the bottom it seemed to look like a ! orange and blue light/flame sort of thing. I was so in shock. 1st thing I thought was too get someone here to see it! I called my friend that lived there but they didn't answer. I decided to go closer to get a better view of it. As I walked to the road all its lights turned off! The only thing you could see was the orange/blue light flame thing coming from the bottom of it. I got kinda scared and started to back away. Then it just stayed there and so I went closer to it again. And this time it started to fade! Like it was disappearing but I could see where it was. ran back to my friends house. I looked and it was there again. I tried calling my other friend but she wouldn't answer. This was now like 2:30 am. I stepped outside my friends house and stayed by his garage. All of a sudden I see lights to my right. I look over and I couldn't believe what I had seen. It was an alien! But it didn't look like the type of aliens people picture. This looked like a super advanced te! chnological robot. It was a dark grey/silver with like a stick body and it had two lights as eyes. And it was moving in one spot. I stood there for a bit observing it. It would just move it's head. I decided to get a better look at it by moving away from the fence and so I did. I walked slowly towards the road and that's when it saw me and froze! It's lights turned off and it stood in one position and did not move. I backed away to were there fence was in between us. It remained that way. I went again and this time it became invisible. I went back to the fence and when I looked at it, it was there again. But still remained frozen. It knew I was watching it. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I was in shock scared excited and nervous all at the same time. I needed to have someone see what I was seeing because I knew nobody would believe me. So I decided to try to call more people to see if anyone would pick up! I called a friend. He answered! I told him to come ASAP. He asked why what happened?? I told him not to ask and to hurry and come. H! e came and parked in front of my house. I slowly ran over there hoping the thing wouldn't see me. I kept looking back to see if I would stay there and it did. I went up to my friend and from where we were I pointed all the way where the thing was standing by the alley in front of a garage. I asked if he sees a silver thing over there and He said yes. That's when I told him what It was and everything I saw. He looked at me and was like shut up. I said I was being dead serious. He just stared at it. He had a worried/nervous face on. I told him I could take him to where he could see the UFO but he didn't want too! He was scared but he just didn't say it. All he said was no it's nothing. And that he didn't see anything over there. I'm like you just said you saw the silver thing over there now you can't say you didn't because you already admitted to it. I tried to convince him to come to see the UFO in the alley he didn't want to but at the end he did. I took him to the side of ! my friends house and pointed at the alley. I told him if he sa! w the bl ue and orange lights and he said yes I'm like okay that's the UFO. It was kinda distant from us. But he said those are probably lights. He was trying to convince himself that it was something else. He went back to his car and I followed. I'm like wow you're really not going to do this with me? I thought I could count on you. He said no sorry. I'm like why???? You saw everything. Are you really that scared? He said yeah..I'm scared of aliens and all that stuff. I'm like okay I understand I guess I'm just going to find someone else. So he left. I went back to where I was and just watched. I was so amused at what I was seeing. My phone was dying so I went back to my house to charge it. Then I went back to where I was without my phone. Everything was still there. I was by the fence seeing this thing just frozen there. Then all of the sudden i see it's eyes (two lights on the head) start turning on. It was blinking and it looked like it was just waking up. And it just started to ! move its head around and his arms up like it was stretching. It then looked worried and sad. I thought. Is it lost or stuck here? I just stayed there and observed it. I went a bit forward again and I think it saw me trying to get a better view of it so it turned off again and remained frozen. I was upset that my friend didn't want to help with anything. I really needed someone to come. I went back inside to grab my phone to see who I could call. I called my friend and she picked up! I told her to hurry and come and so she did. I did the same and pointed at the silver thing and asked if she saw that she said yes I'm like okay are you sure you see it. It's right there. My finger pointing at it. She said yes what about it. And I told her everything. She came with me to show her the UFO. Shes like are you sure that's it. This was now like 3:30 am. She said what if maybe it's lights from another house or something. I'm like nope it's not. Let's go check it out?? She said that I ! was crazy and went back to her car. I followed. I'm like pleas! e!! She' s like we can go in the car but I'm not walking over there. I'm like fine but it knows and it will probably go invisible. So we went and drove around the block and passed by and then it disappeared and that's when my friend was like wow I give you props for this one. Then she dropped me back off and left. She wasn't much help. I needed someone to have interest in it and explore this with me or I needed to get it on camera or something because I knew nobody would believe me if I told them. I just wanted evidence of what I was seeing. I then thought of my moms video recorder! I 1st went back to see if it was there and it was. So I went to go get my moms video recorder and I went back and tried recording it but it was hard to tell since it was dark out but it had the bottom lights on so you could see that part of the UFO. And I couldn't get the alien robot thing since it was off and it was dark. I then left. And I regret not doing anything else about it. I regret not doing more! further research or anything. Because I knew this was a once in a life time opportunity. I maybe be the 1st one to ever see this. Maybe nobody will believe my story. I was indecisive on wether I should do a report on a UFO sighting page or something because what I seen was crazy and maybe nobody will believe me. They will think its a joke or something. But what I seen was real and I may be the 1st one to ever see what I saw. I may be the 1st on to have discovered another alien species from the galaxy. Either way if my report files or not I know someday. Someone will come upon this. This was taken in 2015. All I can remember is driving home and being scared when I first saw it. It was glowing and it was moving fast. I'm surprised I managed to get a picture of it. My father remembered me taking this picture and recommended reporting it with all the new UFO evidence in the news lately. I've always wondered what this was. It would be nice to finally get some answers.

While watching the lunar eclipse tonight around 9 pm, viewing towards the east and south, we witnessed a single light hovering, then rising sharply straight up, then falling sharply straight down, then zipping sharply and very fast to the left, up down, right, left, sideways, angled upwards then angled downwards, in a completely random pattern. It was blinking on and off, also randomly, throughout the 4 minute period we stood watching this. It was far in the distance, to the east and south of where we were standing. It was approximately 20 degrees above the horizon? It appeared way off in the distance, like perhaps 15 miles from where we were, although I could not judge this for certain. I say these numbers because other planes were in the sky (further away) and were fainter and smaller lights and moving at a steady rate across the sky - not so this light. It was brighter (so closer? or bigger?) than a plane 20+ miles away. It could not have been a plane - planes do not move that fast nor rise and fall like that (straight up, then down). It could not have been a drone - I doubt I could have seen a drone move that fast and in such a peculiar pattern either. It could not have been a helicopter - again, no helicopter could have moved that fast, nor traveled sideways or angled upwards like that. It was not a search light - this was a single light, not a beam of light. The light was white or bluish white. It looked like a firework, but with no trail/tail and no visible trajectory path - just a light zipping around. Besides, a firework burns out - this light stayed lit and then would blink out, then return in a different location with the same intensity and size/shape.

I thought I saw fireworks in the distance, but orange fireball kept rising and moved toward me and across the sky, directly overhead from me, and my house and disappeared past the tree line. It appeared to be 1/8-1/4 mi overhead, silent, well-lit orange triangle moving 80-100 mph. I'm a 54 yr. old male. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. watched airliner in the sky at about 10,000 ft (close to O'Hare) when I spotted a big red light beyond it. I had an airplane in sight for reference and this was not an ordinary aircraft. It went approximately east to west, not too fast, gaining altitude until it disappeared in the clouds. As soon as it disappeared, another orange light appeared, following the same flight path. It was about 20 seconds behind the first one, way too close for a regular airliner distancing. I ran inside to get my telescope pointer (magnification @20x) and looked at it through it. I did not see any body, just an orange light. As soon as this one disappeared a third one showed up, following the same flight path. Again, I looked at it through my telescope pointer and it did not look like an aircraft. All I could see was orange light moving in the sky, east to west. There was no other lights, or aircraft after this one. Strange since we live so close to O'Hare.

Over 10 to 20 orange objects moving south with no noise and moving kind of in a straight line. They seemed kind of low in altitude. 3 people saw this happen. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESSES)) Yes - this was for the anonymous source in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. I did not manage to get a picture of all of them together. It happened so fast and they were moving fast. Everything was over within 5 minutes, I guess. 3 other people saw this and we are wondering why there was nothing on the news last night? First time we saw UFO's. I walked outside at 6:20 am and saw a light in the sky. The light reminded me of the ISS or a satellite, but much brighter. It was almost above me just to my south. It was moving from the West to the SouthWest. It was moving at a slow/medium pace. As I said, I thought it was the ISS or satellite. There was no sound or visible features. But the thing that happened next, convinced me it was not. As it was moving, it just stopped and hovered. I sat there and watched it for approx 6 minutes as it hovered in the sky. It was doing a "rocking" motion. The light was still bright but the size was just slightly smaller than when I first saw it. The ISS, Satellite, Chinese Lanterns, etc... Do NOT move and then stop and hover.
