At approximately 8:00 P.M. this evening (10/7/17), I saw two bright lights in the Eastern sky. Being a keen observer of the night sky, I noticed that they looked out of place. They were like stars, stationary, but they quickly faded, simultaneously! I thought this very strange. Even though my wife was outside as well, I was the only one to witness this phenomenon.

A Very bright light behind a mountain. Was there two nights in a row. Stayed in the same spot. The light lit up the whole back of the mountain. I took a video.

Rancho Palos Verdes, CA
UFO spotted briefly for >30 seconds, flying dangerously low through a rural residential neighborhood in Rancho PV. UFO appeared to come from behind our vehicle and then along the driver side. UFO was large enough to possibly hold a person or two. Extremely fast/brief movement, obscure/irregular flight pattern (wavy), strangely SILENT, ascended slightly before emitting a neon orange light and seemingly disappearing. No reports made personally, but multiple helicopters began circling with their lights within 5 minutes of sighting.

It seemed to be a bright star in the distance but it was blinking what seemed to be at least three different colors. Every day all kinds of aircraft fly above my house--this was nothing that I saw before. It didn't have green and red navigation lights. Source of report indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD

Silver flying object on port side of aircraft at approximately 25,000 feet. Size was approximately 60 feet long. No wings. Traveled in the same direction as the commercial aircraft for approximately 8-10 minutes then made a sudden change in direction at 45 degrees aft and was out of view within 2 seconds. Incredible rate of acceleration. Looked like a pill shape. The reflection of the sun made it difficult to observe fine details in the body but it did not have traditional aircraft wings keeping it aloft. Saw it heading west while I was on board the aircraft as we were descending into San Francisco. Probably around Modesto.

5 yellow lights clustered together hovering over the horizon in the southwest region of San Diego, seen from a hilly neighborhood in Spring Valley that overlooks east county, Tijuana, and the Downtown skyline. 1 light was a bit lower and separate from the other 4. They were nothing like anything I've seen, very bright yellow, 5 times the size of an average star, and they were unmistakeably still, not moving at all. They were constantly flickering, but not completely on and off. Similar to a candle flicker. I waited for them to fall or move but they stayed still so I called my mom brother and sister to come see and we watched them stay still for about a whole minute. Then I went to get my phone and captured the last seconds before they disappeared, one by one. The one that was separated from the four and lower disappeared first. It just started to dim until it was gone. Then the other 4 followed. They disappeared while in place. We heard my neighbor say loudly, "they're gone" so we know at least one other person witnessed them, totaling at least 5 witnesses

I was just East of Modesto riding my bicycle heading East on a rural road after sunset, I notice two bright lights that appeared toward the North (on my left side) about 20 degrees above the horizon. They appeared to be stationary, like a planet or star. The color of the 2 objects was bright white. They looked like Venus at full phase but even brighter. One was directly above the other separated by a visual angle of about 1 degree, a little larger than the width of the full Moon. They remained bright for at least 1 minute and then gradually faded to two points of light in about 20 seconds, and then disappeared. When they were fading they appeared to be a point of light surrounded by a bight gas ball. Both were of the same brightness as each other during the entire observation, including when they faded out simultaneously together. As it moved towards me, I realized it was a really big drone and instead of it flying horizontally, with 4 legs, like a turtle, it was vertical, like a turtle walking upright. I said again, do you see that drone right there? One friend stood up and I stood up and walked outside. Just then the object went straight up, extremely fast, and disappeared. Nothing in the sky was obstructing my view.

The fireballs were in a triangle formation and they were not moving. We watched for about 10 minutes and they eventually disappeared...like they just burnt out and were gone. I saw the exact same thing 1 year before.

September 27, 2017: 5:00 am I had a supernatural experience. I was laying in my bed, facing my art room. Something bright outside made me look to the window, I moved my neck forward to see a better because it just look odd. All of a sudden, the light started getting brighter and brighter until it exploded, coming inside my art room on the left side moving forward until it was floating in the center of the room. This bright light turned to a small circle, maybe like a golf ball size. It went in my bedroom, stood still for few seconds. Then all of a sudden the light went flying across the room at extreme speed and went through the wall and disappeared.!!!!! The light was a super clear clear light not yellow just bright white. It scared me so much…. I was not able to say a word; I was kinda paralyzed for few, then I started screaming… Woke up my husband we checked outside there were no signs of anything.

For 2 nights, starting 9/23 around 9:30pm, I saw a white spherical light on the horizon of NorthWest mountains. Strange large lights would fly above this larger light, and they flashed red, white, blue, and moved far too quickly in a bouncing motion to be an airplane. Living close to the airport I disregarded sightings until 9/25 about 10pm I noticed the larger light was no longer white but orange and had moved farther North. Same colored and shaped smaller lights continued to randomly hover in sparadic movements near orange light, until eventually speeding off in whatever directions or disappearing. 9/27 1am I see that large orange light is moving in circle formation and can also see an odd rectangular shape to light, or at a certain angle seemed like 2 lights determining shape to still be rectangular. I have also noticed that orange light has rocket some small white light from top of light, and moving like a missle (straight in sky) has also left some sort! of chem trail looking cloud for a considerable distance about 5 seconds. At 3:55am I became uncomfortable and sit in a chair on the opposite side of the window, and notice a floating green, white, and blue light that was quickly spinning and moving sporadically different directions. 4:08 green light has now moved South West toward my home in a bobbing or jumping formation. Light continues to weave forward and backward as if trying to hide behind clouds. 4:15am light is stationary every time I look at it, but within 2 secs begins to climb sky in much too fast a speed to be anything considered average. These occurrences are extremely frequent here, and I have spotted them on average 6:7 times per week since 2014 along with many other different descriptions. I can occasionally hear strange humming noise as well when lights come close enough, unlike any aircraft I have heard before. 9/27 absolutely zero stars out due to cloudy and overcast night.

Very bright light seemed to dim out and appear in another part of the lower Eastern sky. Seemed to grow brighter then dim, then appear in another part of the sky. It seemed to zig-zag when it reappeared. It seemed to be over the Travis AFB. This lasted for about 30 minutes. I used my binoculars but could only focus on it a couple times as it jumped around. It was stationary and very bright, then dimmed, then gone, then appeared in another part of the clear night sky. I have never witnessed this in 40 plus years of sky watching.

Stepped out to throw garbage out, heard low humming sound like a distant helicopter. I looked in direction and saw a helicopter following a very bright light, heading west over hills above Los Altos/Palo Alto. The bright light then dimmed to gone, then there was a very quick, bright red flash. The helicopter that was following stayed on same heading till was gone over mountain range. That range of mountains no higher than 2000', so I don't think light and helicopter were much higher. I'm right under flight pattern for SFO, very familiar with plane lights, and their landing pattern. We get lots of traffic out of moffet, but again familiar with those aircraft, both military and coast guard. Coast guard copters have a very distinct whine, not same as the military helicopters, so at first I thought maybe it was CG, but this helicopter had a different sound to it.

At approximately 7:00pm, on September 26th, my mother, father, and I noticed strange blue lights in the sky above the Hollywood mountains. The lights would turn off and even move around. Upon further examining it closer with binoculars on our building's roof for a better look , we couldn't identify the lights to be anything that we knew. Therefore, we want to report this as either a UFO sighting or at least maybe get an explanation as to what it was that night we were looking at. Thank you.

Standing on the back deck facing west, I first saw a star that seemed alternately yellow and red. I thought it was a plane. Then I saw a plane fly past it, so it did not seem to be a plane itself. Then I saw a continual succession of what looked like falling stars. I thought that must be the answer, but as it continued, I realized it was very improbable. Another thing I saw was streams of red light that were looping around. I then thought it might be a a controlled toy drone which I've seen around here. But again the length of time it went on made that not seem likely and I couldn't explain the intermittenti ovals of small red lights as a drone. Then I saw several different phenomena: plumes of red and yellow lights that looked like flares or fireworks; red lights in an oval shape appearing and disappearing. The usual Sausalito fog seemed to part and a red whirlwind shape appeared. This happened several times. All of these phenomena continued for at least twenty minutes. I went inside and the time was 2:15 a.m. I wanted to stay and continue watching, but there was no sign of it abating and I went to bed. The 20 minute time frame is approximate. I was so transfixed, I don't really know how long I observed it. It could have been as long as an hour. I should have taken photos, but I thought I wouldn't be able to get a good shot. I am not a "believer" in extraterrestrial life, but what I saw was an something in the sky that I certainly couldn't identify or explain. The only ordinary explanation I could come up with was a fireworks display, but fireworks over the hills of Sausalito at two in the morning seems pretty far-fetched.

A shooting star appeared to enter the atmosphere and became a grey sphere travelling at high speed from west to east at around 19:35. It was silent, left no trail or sonic boom, had no lights or blinking lights of any kind. It went from directly above to the eastern horizon in 3-4 seconds. As it left the sunlight that's when we could see the shape and greyish matte color as the object grew larger in size and disappeared into the darkness of the night.

I'm not sure if these lights are anything that can be easily explained, but after a quick web search I didn't find anything so here it goes. As soon as it gets dark enough to see planes' lights in the night sky, I see about 5 bright lights in the sky at plane level. They've been showing up for a couple of days now. From my window, I see a lot of planes take off. These lights are in their path. They twinkle like stars and are white or yellowish, but sometimes not all of them are there and I have seen them very slowly move. Their formation also changes. I think they're too high up to be airport lights of some sort and stars don't move. So what are they? I live in South Central LA.

I was standing in my driveway smoking a cigarette, facing the street. For some reason, I turned around and looked above my house, and in the distance, I saw the object. It looked like a horseshoe only sideways and it was all light and emitting a sort of glow around everything but the center. I screamed to my wife, “Look up at the sky!”, she was in the backyard letting my puppy out. She came out to the front yard when she heard me screaming but by the time she came out it was gone. It was moving very slowly over the horizon, the center of the object was a very bright orb, like a bright star, but the outer shape, the horseshoe-like tail was all red and leaving a trail, like a hazy glow. It glided by for about 20 seconds and in an instant, it flashed into nothing. It honestly scared me, my hairs all stood up and I was breathing heavily. When it happened, I brought out my phone to record it but when I checked it, nothing had shown up on the video. This has been the strangest thing I have ever seen in the sky. Red glowing ball was moving fast over the ocean in San Diego, CA. It was heading south west. There was no tail on the object. It did have white ripples coming off both sides of it. The ripples looked like air being moved. The width of the ripples were huge! The object was moving super fast. Never seen speed like that before. Rocket launch from Vandenberg AFB. PD

It was about 60 degrees above the horizon and I thought it might be a jet heading to Brown field. An airliner out of San Diego Lindbergh Field flew across its path, but I couldn't tell if the object was below or above the jet. The object cast a bullet shaped aura. I thought it might be a meteorite crossing the sky, but this thing moved much slower across the sky than any meteor I've seen before. As it moved across the sky to my left, the aura ceased and the point of light faded as if it had gone behind a cloud. There wasn't a cloud in the sky. At this point the light reappeared without the aura and then was gone after about 5 seconds. I don't know what this could have been. I watch the airliners fly out bout to the east over my house all the time. I have a commercial pilot license. I'm a federal law enforcement agent. I am in possession of all my faculties.
