We always sit on our back deck and watch the skies for aircraft but this night was different. It was not yet dusk, skies were clear with no cloud cover. I saw what I thought was an airplane but something didn’t look right. It was either spinning or tumbling as it was moving. As soon as I saw this I said to my wife, “This doesn’t look good-something is wrong,” thinking it was a plane in trouble and going to crash. But the object kept on moving in the same trajectory, not losing altitude. That’s when it got weird because as I was watching, two star-like objects appeared around the larger object. While what I saw was in the distance-like an airliner at high cruising altitude- this larger object was as large if not larger in size than a jet plane. The two smaller objects were like moving or shooting stars only they maintained a consistent altitude, never falling. They did at times pull closer to the main larger object. The objects came from south of us and travelled north east until they reached a position pretty much in front of us. It is a guess that the objects were approximately 50 degrees above the plane of the ground. At that time they appeared to stop in midair, but in hindsight we think they may have changed direction heading east away from us until they disappeared from sight--smaller objects first, then the largest was last to fade away. This all happened fast and they travelled at a speed similar to that of an airliner. We live within 15 miles of Bradley Airport and watch planes on approach all the time. But this was different because these objects travelled away from the airport’s location. What we found odd was that all during the time we watched, there were no other visible aircraft. Once the objects disappeared, air traffic seemed to resume--at least eight other planes came into view within the next five minutes. I know what I saw and feel compelled to report, if not only for some explanation for what I witnessed.

It was a bright blue sunny day when I was in my backyard when I heard two airplanes in the southeast sky. They sounded like they could be fire planes and since we live in an area of extreme fire danger we are always on the alert for fire activity this time of year. When I looked up and saw the first plane and it was moving to the south, at that time, I noticed a bright shiny object that looked like it could be in the path of the plane. When the plane passed behind the object, I realized the object was closer to me. That's when I noticed it wasn't moving at all, just stationary and not moving. I was trying to process what this was that I was seeing, another plane, helicopter, weather balloon etc. But I am sure what I was seeing was not any of those! As the second plane approached the craft was still not moving, and still in the same spot, and then all the sudden it just disappeared, vanished, gone!

Was driving on plains rd, Sussex county, NJ. 1235pm. Looked to right in sky. Seen a dark silver/grey craft. Top and bottom were flat, sides were slanted. Bottom was longer than top of craft. Was gone in seconds. Was way up in sky, just hovering

I was walking to work when I saw these 2 circular things shining in the sky. I thought they were maybe drones but they were moving too slow and too close together to be drones. They continued moving and blinking for about 4 minutes when they disappeared. I had looked down for a second and then couldn't find them again. A point of light moving West to East across the sky. The light grew brighter when climbing and grew dimmer descending. No sound was heard and the light did not blink.

I went out to have a smoke at around 4:30 AM. I do this often, and am always looking up for shooting stars, satellites, etc. I saw a slightly yellowish/white light in the Western sky flash dimly then go out. I kept watching the same area of the sky, and several seconds later, the light appeared again, but about 5 times as bright, and the light stayed on for at least 3 seconds, and had moved some distance toward the east. It then flashed dimly several seconds later, then again dimly, then very brightly and for a longer duration. There was no rhythm to this flashing at all, it was very random, and definitely was not a plane. I’ve seen many satellites, and this was very different. For one, it was much slower, and secondly, on a strange west to east path, thirdly, satellites don’t flash. The strangest thing though, I went out the very next night, and saw the exact same object, same trajectory, only slightly further south in the sky. I don’t know what it was, but it was definitely unidentified by this long time sky watcher.

At approximately 4:30 am, on July 6, 2017, in the North East sky Mr. ((name deleted)) has seen a bright light. It is at approximately 15-20 degrees, he lives on a mountain. The light lasts for about one hour and appears to be hovering. The weather has been cloudy and clear. He could not see the moon or venus. Beneath the cloud cover there is a bright light. Through binoculars it was actually 3 separate objects. About one week ago he saw the same object. It had smaller lights in an oval pattern beneath it. During the second observation, he saw what appeared to be identical light about 10 miles SE. Before he could photograph it, the second light vanished. He has been able to see the lights multiple nights over the last 10 days. Possible sighting of Venus?? We believe that the report may have been submitted on behalf of the witness by another party. The witness is described as being a highly trained professional. PD

From 2:00 am to around 3:30 am, there was an orange light that was hoovering. I thought it was Mars, but then it danced and shot diagonally into the sky before returning into its original location. ,When I got binoculars out it looked like a plane with the wings offset. It did not have lights, it was the light. It was a deep orange color. After 3:30 am, I finally went to bed and never saw it leave. It did not reappear the following nights. It was pretty odd. Around 10:00 PM on July 9, 2017 as I was about to unload my groceries, I noticed a bright blue/teal light and a smaller red light in the sky. At first, I assumed it was a plane but noticed that the lights were not blinking or moving. After about a minute or less the red light disappeared. At this time, I called my husband over to come check it out but he blew me off. After about another minute or so of the bright blue/teal light just stationary, it quickly shot straight up a few feet and stopped. I again yelled for my husband to come see it, explaining that the red light disappeared and the blue light just shot up quickly. As my husband walked over to see, the blue light jumped quickly to the left a few feet and then about 15-20 seconds later it dropped or shot or dove down towards the ground in a diagonal direction. As it dove towards the ground, there was a buzz or zip sound, and then the it was gone, just vanished.

3 of us had just arrived back at my step-daughter's appartment, when I noticed 4 circle shaped obj cts traveling southward in the sky. They appeared to be 3000 to 5000ft or maybe higher. They were white in color and had no aircraft marker lights. I estimate that they were moving around 90 knots. I didn't have my phone handy but did have a pair of binoculars in my car. I grabbed them and zoomed in to only see 4 white round lights, and as before mentioned, there were no type of any aircraft marker/navigational lights on the objects. As they continued southward towards the horizon, a neighbor approached and asked what were we looking at. Once we told her, we gave her the binoculars, and she witnessed them as well. When we first observed these 4 lights, the formation was one in front, then some space, then two closer together, and more space, and finally the fourth following. There was absolutely no sound emitted from these craft or objects. Final visual on these! objects before last seen, with binoculars, they were in the southern sky, but their formation had changed and appeared in a pyramid form from left to right. I do not believe they were any type of convential or earthly aircraft. These objects were white circle lights without proper navigational lighting and again, emitted no sound at all.

On the night of July 8, 2017, my wife called my attention to a red ball of light approximately 20 miles away, to the West. The light was bright red and pulsing bright & dim. It hovered, then rapidly ascended straight up. On the way up, it changed color from red, to blue, to pale yellow, orange, then back to red, when it stopped. It hovered a few moments, then remained red and slowly descended, below the horizon. The entire event lasted about one minute. The light was incredibly bright, for as far away as it was.

Noticed an bright, constant, orange light. Moving at a consistent speed a few thousand feet up going North to South. Maybe 150-200 mph. Light was the same brightness throughout. Straight flight path, very low with no sound at all. Novice opinion: too fast to be a lantern, flew too many miles to be a consumer drone. Will watch again tonight. I was out smoking and looked up at the sky and noticed a red and orange light. It looked like some kind of object on fire in the sky. It was moving very slowly, so I grabbed my mother and showed her, she got super freaked out . I snapped a photo of the object and it then it disappeared into the night sky.

On Saturday night July 8th, 2017, my husband and I witness at least 8-10 orange orbs. We have a limited view of the sky due to the trees in our neighborhood. I saw them first. The first two very close together and I wonder why 2 planes would be flying that close together. They were very bright orange. You know how a small plane looks when it is flying towards you. Like that, only bigger and brighter and orange. They were not moving towards us. But from north to south. When I saw the 4th one, I said to my husband what is that. He jumped up from his seat and said, “I do not know”. We moved off the porch and into the yard and saw at least 4 more. He says no planes or helicopters have orange lights. Way too high to be fireworks. No noise. We don’t know what we saw. He is a ufo believer. Me, I don’t want to know. This happened in Edinburgh, PA looking west toward Ohio. 10:15pm to 10:35pm

Around 10:10 pm just outside of Manilla, IA, 3 of 4 family members saw large red lights in the sky. I said, “What are those lights? Manilla doesn’t have lights like that!?” The 2 lights were high in the air, spaced apart. They reminded me of tower lights, but there are no towers there (in the area that we saw the lights). 1 family member thought the lights were moving down, I believe I only saw one light (right side) move down. After a few seconds they disappeared! The lights were too big I believe to be a drone. While we were driving we were listening to the radio, when we drove on the road into town, the music on the radio was interrupted by the Emergency Broadcast Alert System (made the loud sounds), but it had no message and went back to music.

A red, silent light traveling in a straight eastward path followed by another light on the same path. We then observed 3 more of the same red lights at about 3-5 minute intervals heading on the same path. The lights were not as high as airplanes on this flight path, but we were unable to see a shape or hear any sounds from the ufos. I was on an evening walk not far from my house, when I turned in a westerly direction on a residential street. The time was around 21:00 hours EDT on the date of 7/08/2017. As I walked generally towards the west, I saw a dark, round object silhouetted against the still bright western sky. It appeared to be about 50 feet above the tree line at a heading of WNW from my location. It was motionless and emitted no lights or sound. It also appeared to be slightly wider than it was tall but was generally spherical in shape. It seemed to be about the size of one of my fingernails, held at arm’s length, from my perspective. The first thought that came to mind was that I was observing a large tethered balloon some unknown distance away. I also considered a kite but quickly dismissed that idea as there was barely a breeze and certainly not enough wind to keep a kite aloft. I continued to walk westerly as I observed the object for about 10-20 seconds before the tree line obscured my view. In that time, the object did not appear to move at all, but remained completely stationary. I continued to walk to the end of the street and turned northerly at an intersection. As I walked farther I tried to again observe the object through breaks in the tree line towards the west but to no avail. The object was now gone. This is the first time in my life I have ever seen an object in the sky that I could not identify. It did not appear to be a helicopter, plane or drone and (to reiterate) was completely silent. It appeared to be much too small to be a hot-air balloon, and I have never seen hot-air balloons floating over my neighborhood in the past 4-1/2 years I have lived here. Therefore, I am mystified as to what it was.

As they were lighting up a rather big firework, and it had burst into the sky, I noticed a orangish, red diamond shaped sparkling star in the sky above it that kept going higher above the red and green colored firework. Immediately, I stopped in my tracks and watched it go higher and higher above the firework, and kind of hovered over the firework as it exploded. I waited for it to explode as well, but it didn't... instead it floated towards the moon. Until it got farther and farther away. It seemed so close to me, it was big. But in like 2 seconds it was gone. I knew what i saw was not a firework, and it freaked me out that my neighbors didn't even notice... I really do not know for certain what I saw, but I have this feeling what I saw was a UFO. This isn't t! he first time I thought I saw one. I know I can't go and tell family and friends because who is going to believe that so I needed to tell someone, I can't stop thinking about it and terrified of what I saw.

Four of us were hiking to the top of Whipple Mountain outside of Telluride. I was taking photos of the scenery and wildflowers. None of us saw an object during the hike. During a review of the photos today after getting home, I saw a dark horizontal rectangular brown shape in the sky in one of the phones. After enlarging the photo, it appears that the edges of the object are indistinct and some sort of light-colored cylinder shape is arising from the brown cylinder. The Telluride airport is located nearby and we all had been watching planes takeoff and land during the hike. My husband, a former private pilot, cannot identify the object as possibly being aircraft.
