I witnessed a UFO hovering directly overhead. I first noticed it around 3:01 pm on September 15, 2018, as I was flying my last drone footage flight. The sighting lasting over an hour. I was in the area shooting an independent short film on one of the local residents. As my drone was set to make an automatic landing, based on a GPS coordinate, I confirmed with its OS before takeoff. it hovered to its initially set height coordinates input beforehand (approx. 20 meters). As I looked up to see it hovering prior to landing, I noticed what I initially thought was a bag floating high above the drone. As I looked closer I realized it was perfectly round. Then I thought maybe it was a balloon. Then a weather balloon. But it was locked in place. Not moving. White. I wanted to take my drone up higher to see if I could match its altitude and get a better look but all 4 of the batteries were dead or dying and would not have the power necessary to take it to extreme altitudes and return safely to home without crashing or failing. It had the capability of going as high as 500 Meters with a full charge, but was just not possible at this point. The actual height of this UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) I could not say, as I'm not a commercial pilot and could not gauge how high it was. I did see a plane fly by maybe 20-30 minutes later and could tell that the commercial plane was at a much higher altitude than whatever this was purely by the atmospheric distortion that softened all of the edges and the image of the plane according to my eyes. The UFO was sharp in contrast and definition. That gave me a little information in that it must've been closer to me than the plane. My initial reaction was to run and grab my HD DSLR camera (Canon T5i) from all the gear I had in my jeep for the shoot and start filming. I was filming in 1080P earlier so all I had to do was point and click. I landed my drone safely, threw it in my car and grabbed the camera. I managed to get about 6 Photographs and as many if not more videos of the event, some of which I'll share here. I had a telephoto lens I had purchased for another shoot (55-250mm) so I threw that on to get maximum magnification and started shooting. This thing literally hung right above me for about 30 minutes. Silent, round, white. I could see with the naked eye that there was a little blue spot in the middle so I thought maybe it was a donut in the sky. Sounds weird I know. As I zoomed in with the telephoto lens, I could clearly see definition in the bottom of this thing. White lines, a design or something inside an inner round core of a light electric blue. This design stayed consistent over all the photographs and films, as you will see. As this traveled West I noticed that the shape was now slightly ellipsed which gave me the impression that this thing flat like a dish or classic saucer. I was getting a little weirded out, so I called you, then Peter Davenport of the National UFO Reporting Center in the United States, as under his guidance, called you, and witnesses to come to see this thing and verify my sighting. Locals ((name of female #1 deleted)), and ((name of female #2 deleted)) arrived with author ((male's name deleted)), and all three confirmed my sighting, as it traveled over the beach at Daniel's Head Road, before heading out to sea. In all, we had 4 witnesses. ((2nd female)) met me at the Fire Hall at the head of Daniel's Head Rd. I located the object for him which he then witnessed heading south to the beach. I then left and headed to the beach. Laurie then met me there a few minutes later, and we picked it up again. A few minutes after that (it must've been after 4 pm at this point) ((male)) and ((2nd female)) showed up. By this point all of my cameras were dead, save one, but I had already gotten great shots and this thing was heading out to sea becoming difficult to track. If you didn't try hard and focus in the direction it was you wouldn't see it. This occurred at my original location once it had crossed the road and was making its way to the beach. As soon as you picked it up it became so obvious that you wondered why you couldn't see it without searching for it. Very strange. I retrieved ((male's)) field glasses from his car, and he was able to see the craft, or whatever it was, w! ith 6x magnification, if I'm correct. All four of us saw this thing on the beach. I tried to show another guy on the beach but he couldn't see it. He said he saw two drones flying around earlier, but I was flying one close to the beach earlier but I didn't see another drone or drone pilot. I sort of think that maybe he saw this thing earlier but he also saw my drone, because I did fly past him. Hard to know. The impression it left upon me was, 'What was this thing?', 'How come I can't hear it?', 'How is it just hovering there barely moving' (even though you can see when the camera is mounted on the tripod that it is, in fact, moving all so very slowly). I also felt like, 'I'm freaking out because I'm alone out here and this thing is just hovering above me'. I also felt anxious, excited, nervous I wasn't going to get it recorded, and completely full of awe. I was also completely confused at why nobody who passed by in cars (and there were several) didn't stop to asking me what I was filming in the sky. There was actually a cyclist that bikes right past me as I'm trying to get his attention to look at the UFO! You'll see all this in the clip I've provided via Google Drive link. Please excuse all the expletives as I was rather flustered and flummoxed. Tonight as I'm looking at the photos and footage, I'm elated that what I saw was not my imagination, as the design on the bottom showed up in my videos and photos. My reactions are sincere. I want everyone to know that the strange things that have been reported in this area are still happening!! The man I was filming that morning saw a sea monster there off the coast in 1976 with about 5 other people and other reports go back in time. UFO's have been consistently captured there over the years, and stories still persist of strange incidences of weird visits by otherworldly beings. Let's not forget that in 1967, just down the road in Shag Harbour, the world's only gov't documented UFO crash occurred. The witness to my event, ((female #1)) is the very same ((female #1)) that witnessed that crash back in 67'. It gets weirder. Heather, the other witness has been photographing these things for years and as it turns out, is the cousin of the man I had spent filming all day. Lastly, ((male)), the 3rd witness to my event, just so happens to be the guy who has written 2 books on that crash of 1967. He also just happens to be the subject of another film I'm making on his life. While traveling out of Ontario filming this film, we both had another experience together involving a UFO. It gets better. The night before I saw yet another UFO over Citadel hill. A month or so back, my wife saw two UFO's over North St, and my dad watched a small white orb trailing a commercial plane flying over the Joe Howe Superstore. There is this saying, 'Once you stare into the Abyss, the Abyss starts to stare back'. I feel like there's more truth to this, especially after yesterday's events. Attached are a couple files. Zoom in on the photos and video. It's very compelling evidence of something still happening on Cape Sable Island. This was not a trick of photography as we all 4 saw this with our naked eye. I came home from work when I notice my back yard light was on. I went to inspect the light which was left on by wife. When I turn east there was a orange light moving slightly back and forth about 2000 feet from me and at an elevation about 200 feet. This craft was not there when I past by this area a minute before in my car. I was very tired so I just went into my house and went to bed. The next night, I checked the sky in the same area to see if there was the same light there and to prove it was not just a star, there was not any light there, which proves I did see some. My husband and I observed, at a fairly low altitude, a white light moving slowly from south east to north east. It was fairly bright and as we observed it, it just dimmed and went out. We have an app on our iphones that tracks commercial planes flying in the air around us and we both confirmed that there were none atall in the area, especially in that direction at that time.

Explosive round impulse light, medium green in color, straight up overhead and stationary. As green light expanded and impulsed at its maximum brightness, green light completely vanished and never returned visible again after that point. We watch the spot for quite awhile after in knowing that the craft wasn't moving.

We witnessed one object moving from southwest to northeast at approximately 5:45am. the most prominent object stands stationary in the eastern sky. Perhaps a third phenomenon pulsating in the southeastern sky. The most curious thing is that we haven't seen a plane in the sky throughout this event. We looked through binoculars without any conclusion.

Awakened by a noise, I looked outside our bedroom window, which faces south. The source of the noise turned out to be the voices of a couple walking on the sidewalk in front of the house, but I immediately noticed a large orange light off in the distance to the southeast over the couple’s heads. At first, I thought it was the moon. The light was about as large as a new crescent moon and the color of a rising harvest moon. Then I saw that it was moving, from east to west. I wondered if it might be an aircraft. It’s apparent height and speed and its flight path were similar to the police plane that patrols over the freeway south of the city. However, this light had no navigation lights and was much larger than any aircraft I have seen passing by at that angle above the horizon, near or far. I strained to listen for any sort of aircraft sound, either the propeller noise if a small aircraft of the distant roar of jet engines, but all I could hear through the open window were the voices of the couple walking by. Otherwise, the night was dead silent. Because the light was so unfamiliar looking, I couldn’t tell how far away it might be. As the light continued on it’s path, reaching about south of my position, I noticed that it was pulsating or perhaps had started pulsating, going from very dim to very bright about once per second. At its dimmest it was still plainly visible and at its brightest it was quite a bit brighter than the ISS would be. A few seconds later, it became obscured by a tree in front of the house. By that time I had probably been watching it for about half a minute. Although I could occasionally see the light through gaps in the branches, it took about half a minute for it to emerge back into unobstructed view. It continued on the same path, still pulsating from bright to dim about once per second. I watched it for about another half a minute or more, until I lost sight of it behind neighbors’ trees to the southwest. A few seconds before it went behind the trees, I thought that it might be turning slightly to the northwest, but I couldn’t be sure. Whatever it was, it wasn’t an aircraft. Its flight path was too steady and fast and it looked too far away to be a Chinese lantern, although I can’t rule that out entirely. The couple walking on the sidewalk appeared to be unaware of the light. I looked at the clock and saw that the time was 1:35 a.m. Before going back to bed, I pushed my face close to the window to look over as much of the sky as possible. I wanted to see if any stars were visible, because at that hour it almost seemed as if the sky might be overcast (it gets hard to tell these days as our growing city emits more light pollution). The sky was somewhat hazy, but the brightest stars were visible overhead through our urban skyglow. With no cloud cover, the light could have been any distance away.

Around 0300 my best friend and I were having a beer on my tailgate on Lake Ontario. I witnessed a blinking ball with a v shaped tail at end. We thought it was a drone but given the time and size were amazed. There was no sound and when it went behind an apartment building it appeared to be at least three stories tall. It flew in a direct line at an extremely slow pace with no sound at all. Out of fear we hid behind the truck and after that it disappeared behind the city skyline. No one believes us because we have no video proof.

Looking north to the edge of Whitby-Pickering northern border, a large orange light appeared, seen by four of us. About a 1-2 min observation, then light disappeared instantly! We suspect a nighttime sighting, and not a morning sighting. We have amended the time above to reflect that fact. It only lasted 2-3 seconds between the trees. None of us could identify it. It had no other lights. It was a constant bright orange ball of light. We only saw the one.

Witnessed a large bright bird like shape in night sky. At first thought light was a shooting star moving very fast from east to west until bright light made a 90 degree turn and charged direction to move from south to north. This was not a airplane as it was moving too fast and to high up in atmosphere to be a plane and planes can't turn as fast as this did. Also, although light was shaped like a bird it was again moving too fast and to high in atmosphere to be a bird.

Object was stationary in the skyline. At first believed to be a helicopter then it manoeuvred in a zig zag formation and picked up Mach speed and stopped at least 20km away. It then returned nearly colliding with a commercial aircraft A320. Then "warped" away on descent towards a trajectory Southwest. No longer in visual range. Distance away from ufo: 2 miles approx depending on actual size. It was a bright light dimming in and out slightly. It went left about 2 feet if measured by hand, also going down on a 45 deg. angle, went right the opposite way, same angle then went right, the again came back left going down about 55o, behind trees off in the distance. Unknown after this.

Went to get binoculars to better see a sphere of light that just hung in sky at first. Through the binoculars it was diffetent shades of red pulsing light that seem to continually fold in on itself. I watched it for a short time when it just seem to quickly vanish from horizon.

I was sitting on the front stairs of our townhouse, smoking and playing a game on my phone. I looked up and saw three orange lights in a triangle formation slowly revolving and slightly moving north east. There was no sound and the lights appeared about 100 metres or less in front and above. After watching it for about 30 seconds, I got up and opened our front door and called my wife to come quickly. She came and saw the lights and said with no doubt in her voice, “oh cool, a UFO.”. I have been a lifelong skeptic so I had a hard time grasping this, though I had no other explanation for this sighting. It stayed a few more minutes, slowly revolving though no longer moving in any direction and gradually revolved slower and the lights became dimmer until it was no longer there at all. For the duration I barely took my eyes away from it and there was no noise whatsoever. I have told almost no one about this. I understand that few would believe me.

My wife and I were watching an air show from our balcony 8 years ago, there were 4 or 5 black orbs sitting still in a triangular formation originally we thought that they were drones but the airport would have shut that down quickly given how close they were to the jets. We were taking pictures with our camera of one of the jets and as soon as it completed the fly by, the orbs moved in sync in a very straight line across the sky. Their speed wasn't, incredibly fast but just an effortless speed if that makes any sense, no delay, just a singular movement. They picked up speed as soon as they cleared where the jet had passed and faded into the distance very quickly, we did happen to accidentally get a picture of them sitting and waiting but its buried in an old SD card or one of our old hard drive, but my wife being a massive skeptic at the time and then seeing the release of the orb videos is now convinced that what we saw was not what we initially thought. I looked in the news for any other sightings almost a year later and there was nothing, I also looked for any coverage about drones flying too close to the show but also came up with nothing. When zoomed in on the pictures, all I could remember is that they looks like jet black balls, very little shine to them in the sunlight, and were fairly large considering how far away they were, rough estimate would have been 5 to 8 feet but speherical.

Initially looked like one large, elongated red light moving east to west. Shape shifted to appear as two V-shaped spans of smaller red lights (one V inside the other; about six red lights within each arm of each V). Hard to tell distance - seemed to be within a few kilometres; in that case, object would have been about the size of a DC 9. No noise evident. Object moving slowly, in sight for about three minutes, then appeared to turn to the north and visible for another two minutes or so. Lights suddenly disappeared, as if extinguished. A quick Google search indicated (if I read correctly) that commercial/recreational aircraft need to display red, white and green lights; lights on this object were red only, and none were flashing lights, as required.

At around 10:30 pm, I went I to my balcony of my apartment, 3 floors up. Over a horizon of trees, I noticed 5 red balls hovering/moving fairly slowly in the sky, and then another 5 followed and so on until about 20 went by. They moved super slow and a couple just vanished into no where. It's like the light just went out. As well, as most of them changed a formation to a triangle, 1 at the top, 2 at the base. Just before they stopped, my dog then came outside and staring peeing everywhere... He has never peed on my balcony a day in his life. And I ran down stairs to see more then my boyfriend said that there was 3 more that went by as I was trying to get downstairs to see. After we noticed a couple planes going by that we normally don't see many.
