The report, as filed
Was driving down m21 and saw the object, initially thought nothing of it until it moved, my car stalled as I noticed it begin to move it moved in a straight line for a substantial distance then stopped, hovered on its axis then turned and shot up into the sky in a streak of light leaving an orange trace behind it. Estimated altitude at time of first sight is 500 or so feet, then it shot off at an astronomical speed and gained altitude almost as fast it it was moving across the sky, vanished in an instant, it made no sound and the lights were not blinking as required in the u.s. heard coyotes all around begin barking and howling for a few seconds unril it was gone
