"My wife and I were on our rooftop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, when my wife noticed a string of lights high in the sky, moving rapidly. I exclaimed, "Wow, I think that's Starlink!" I quickly reached for my Sky Guide app and opened it, but to my surprise, Starlink did not appear on the app. Just as the lights passed directly over our heads, they began to vanish one by one, disappearing into the night sky, very near the star Rastaban. Intrigued, I immediately went downstairs and checked the Starlink tracker, only to find that Starlink satellites were nowhere near this part of the planet at that time." Even though Sky Guide and the Starlink Tracker did not indicate anything, this sounds very much like Starlink. [NUFORC annotation: Starlink - Probable]

My son aged 10 told me he saw lights in the night sky that he’d never seen before. I was in the shower and my wife was working in the other room. I came out and saw these orange lights. I hadn’t seen these lights before either. We called my wife in who also observed them. We watched them until they all floated into the clouds and vanished. My son theorized they were Chinese lanterns. Perhaps they were, but I felt it couldn’t hurt to alert someone to their presence. Thank you so much for taking the time to look into this. PS I have video but the file size was too large so I put some screen grabs for you to see. There was a screen in front of the camera lens but I opened the screen for the end of the video. I was looking out the window and saw a red ball moving across the sky then it turned black, well from my view it turned black and I went to get my phone off the bed so I can record it and it was gone

Looking out of my window in Williamsburg late at night, I saw what appeared like a bright red star in the sky, possibly a laser beam. It was there for hours. Two nights later I saw it in a different spot and then again a few days later.

I was sitting on my roof with my neighbor and we saw a bright light. As it got closer, we realized it was not a plane, helicopter or jet. Just fast moving bright object. Hard to get a decent picture.
