Sphere over Lakeville, PA
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
Large Blimp like object about 15-30 bus lengths long, moving slowly 25-50 MPH, only about 300-500 yards above lake surface. Moving in the North-East direction, linear movement. Observed from 18.5 ft aluminum boat drifting in Lake. Yes we realize the photos could resemble starlink, but this object appeared to be a Blimp, which doesn't display in Photos. We're fairly sure about the distance off ground of 300-500 yards, as I'm a surveyor. This is the first UFO myself and friend have seen ever (40 years old). My friend has higher resolution photos, these were sent to me by text message. [NUFORC annotation: Starlink - Possible]
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #176015). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.
Ask for the records
What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
