Sphere over Warner Robins, GA
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
It appeared to be a sphere travling at a high atilitude and very fast. The flashes seemed to be from reflecting in the sun. It was spotted from Robins Air Force Base control tower. It seemed to be traveling behind another aircraft that was at FL 280. It was spotted to the North West traveling South East. It was not observed on our radar.
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #175600). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

Object flying at high altitude, about as high as airliner, was seen by 4 witnesses flying or floating over Houston County, GA from 1838 (approx. overhead) to 1855 (when it could no longer be seen on horizon). Seen on 5/14/2021. Object traveled in a southeast bound trajectory. Object seemed to shift change, flash lights, and or shimmer irregularly. Shimmer or lights were silver, white, or yellow. Object was moving much slower than an aircraft, did not emitt any detectable sound. I took video of object, sketched at time of viewing, and took notes. Object may be high altitude silver balloon, or ballon group, however object seemed to be too high to be ordinary party balloons. An aircraft was seen in the vicinity of balloon at approximate altitude as baloon. My estimate is that it must have been at well over 18Kft.

On April 15 at about 9:30 PM, looking at the stars, I noticed that a line of objects was made that looked like airplanes, but when I noticed and kept looking, there were many (approximately more than 30). All in formation, keeping the same distance, and without making any noise.

My wife and I were standing in our driveway in western Warner Robins, watching Fourth of July fireworks all around us, both from our neighorhood and from large fireworks displays further away. There were some large fireworks off to the NE that we could see, at which point we spotted a light flying in our general direction. At first we thought it was an ember from the fireworks, as it was the same color as a flame, but embers usually burn out relatively quickly. We concluded it must not be when it kept on going and didn't lose its luminosity. It didn't make a sound as it flew over our neighborhood in a straight line towards the SW at a speed of approximately 15-20 mph and an altitude of approximately 3/4-1 mile. We watched it as it flew off into the distance until we could not see it anymore. A few minutes passed, and another object, exactly the same as the first in every way (same altitude and speed) came from the same location and followed the same trajectory. This time, my wife was able to find my spyglass and I got a closer look at it. It was very dark outside by this point so I could really only make out the light, but there was just enough sunlight where I thought I could make out a dark shape around the moving light, like there was more to the object than just the light. I am not 100% sure about this as it was pretty far away and very dark by the time I got the spyglass.

My boyfriend and I were sitting on the back porch just hanging out. I looked up into the sky to star gaze, when I noticed what I thought was a star increase in brightness and disappear. I said to my boyfriend "What was that?", he did not seem to interested and I went back to looking up at the sky but this time at the location that the light occurred. Then just a short distance from the original location another light grew in brightness but not as bright as the first, then immediately disappeared. I again said "What was that? It did it again!", this time he looked up and said "I do not see anything", then he went back to his phone. I looked back and at that time I saw a light shoot across the sky just below both locations of the original lights. I said "There goes a shooting star!", but I am not sure that it was and could be related to the first two lights. The initial light was blended into its surroundings by looking ! like a star. When it grew in brightness there was an outside ring of white light with a center white light of a solid circular shape. The second increase of light was of the same make-up but dimmer than the first. The "shooting start" was a solid white light shooting across the sky from right to left. The night sky was clear with no clouds in the sky and no obstructions visible from my backyard to the sky.
