Oval over Lone tree, CO
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
The objects moved north east to northwest at an extremely fast pace, immediately stopped and then moved again north west from north east and then quickly went up and disappeared. Two very silver, shiny oval, looking spears one 45° above the other, but in near parallel movement with the spear closest northwest, seeming to be leading. This occurred over lone tree, Colorado and late in the afternoon 513 to 5:15 PM appeared for 15-20 seconds and then completely disappeared and took off in the northerly direction at an excessive speed, faster than any aircraft Ever witnessed.
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #174721). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.
Ask for the records
What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
