The report, as filed

We were in our backyard and saw a large bow shaped glowing shock wave in the night sky moving from west to east. I quickly grabbed my phone and took a picture. When we exposed the photo we found multi items in the sky, not seen by our naked eyes. 10 min later a large grouping of light colored objects, what appeared to look like geese (but way to far up) moving through the sky, flying from north west towards the same flight path and also disappearing.

Troy, IL

Orange globe caught my eye almost directly overhead but off to the west about 20 degrees. Going NNE about as fast as a helicopter might travel. No sound at all. The orange color was not steady. The light shining was changing in brightness within the globe.
