The report, as filed
I was driving East down Highway 18 looking at the morning sunrise, as traffic slowed and then came to a stop. I looked over south into the sky and saw a bright light that looked disk shaped with another lower rectangular shape below it moving slowly. The bright light seemed very abnormal with the contrast of the clouds and sunrise. I immediately pulled off the Hwy, took an initial photo on my phone, then tried to refocus to identify the object better, and it was gone.

Vapor trail rising vertically like a rocket, then leveled off at a very high altitude. This appears to be a jet aircraft. As it proceeded South there was another aircraft following close which was not producing a vapor trail.
