The first time we saw the objects was December 1st 2022. My wife and I were on top of the hill on the hunting lease trying to get better reception for things that apply to her business. She stopped and said to me, what is that red light. After watching it for a couple of minutes and exchanging options which became more and more apparent to be wrong. I suggested she start videoing with my phone. So she did. This went on for 12 to 15 minutes. I finally said this is one of those things I need to add to my list of Sh** I don't know!!! I suggested that it may be a Fire Truck because it almost appeared to be on Highway 503 at the front of the property and exactly where the property owners live. It was red and flashing but we could not hear it or see any fire or smoke on the roadside and thought it appeared originally close enough, that we should be able to hear something and see smoke. We pretty quickly disregarded the grass fire scenario due to the irratic movement of the light. Back and forth and up and down. Then my wife questioned maybe it's the owner's Christmas lights. We really could not tell the exact range because we also could not decide on the size of the object. Soon we realized it was 2 objects and then shortly there after it became 3 objects. The second light that we had really paid no attention to which was to the left and appeared to be white at first and then green we quickly realized it was actually moving in sequence with the red one. Then the 3rd one flashed in and out of view from the right and appeared to be a little dimmer. Now I was running possible reasonable answers as to what we were seeing. Then my wife suggested maybe someone had shot a deer just before dark and they were looking for it. But that reasonably sound theory fell apart because by my guessing of distance between objects was 300 to 500 yards and they absolutely appeared to be moving in sequence. Drones came into the conversation, but NO! During this time a couple of cars or trucks came up Hwy. 503 which was about 3/4 of a mile from us. But it did not clarify for me the exact distance the objects were from us. Then I stated, I wonder what the 2 vehicles occupants must be thinking while seeing this. But they seemed unaffected and their speed never appeared to change. We could hear the vehicles clearly but nothing from the objects? Reason I guessed Fire Truck and possible grass fire on side of 503 was I am a retired Fire Chief and while in the Air Force at Sheppard AFB, I became Crew Chief of the Flightline Rescue Team for NATO 80th Flying Wing in WITCHITA FALLS, TEXAS. We finally after 15 minutes or so got down off the rear of the golf cart and headed back to camp about 200 yards away. Confused and a little shaken. We stayed at camp and never went back outside the rest of the night. The rest of our hunts were successful and without interruption. Our conversation that night pertained to trying to figure out what just happened? We inquired with the property owners before we left about if they saw anything unusual at the time in question. Or if they had put their Christmas lights up, which they had not! Just to cover all possible explanations. They also told us they were in Abilene that night and did not get back home until 8 pm or so. Now I really was wondering to what had actually occurred? The second incident occurred at around 6 am on December 18, 2022 during my walk to my Deer hunting blind on top of the hill about 100 yards west from the location we were a couple of weeks before. I looked up in the sky and it was clear, cool and still that morning. I thought this is a great morning for deer hunting. On the way up a small rock shelf I noticed a pretty bright light, which was the only one in the area and considered it to be a star. After looking at it while proceeding, I thought to myself did that star just move. Of course realizing I was walking over a rocky surface I quickly came to the assumption it was my head bobbing a little from uneven terrain. The more I walked and watched the more unsure I became. Then thinking maybe here we go again, I climbed in my Dillon Deer blind and started looking at the object/star or what the heck. Soon as I had sat there for a minute or so it dropped approximately 1/3 it's distance towards the ground. I immediately started analyzing it's distance and height from me. When I thought it was a bright star, who knows the distance? But now I'm thinking it's a light/object and that's a whole different judgement and assessment on my part. I'm guessing 10 to 12 thousand ft., maybe? I did skydive once and had watched planes touch and go for 3 or 4 years. So yah! 10,000 ft. [ ] As soon as it paused it's decent. It began a lot of constant irratic moving and changing colors. Strobe light effect is what my thought process associated it with. All different colors. I was like, this is really showing me what it is capable of! After 4 or 5 minutes of complete WOW!!! I thought, I have frickin binoculars on. So I immediately started using them. It's appearance through the binoculars was semitransparent, either lights in it, or on it. It appeared shaped somewhat like a large jellyfish turned on it's side and with lights all over it and on in it. Especially around what I would identify as the bottom of it's bell shape. Sounds weird, but that's what I associated it with shape wise. Remember / transparent! Totally taken back and confused as to the difference in the large colorful strobe ball of light I had been videoing and watching and what the binoculars had shown me. I began wanting a picture! Not sure of what, or if my phone could do any good at that distance. I tried it and it worked. I decided to focus my camera at 10x and took a couple of pictures. Best that I could out of the window of the blind. Then I viewed what I had taken a picture of and couldn't tell much, but they both looked different, like it was possibly chaging shape also? I videod and watched it a little longer before it started back up to approximately its original location. Then it began heading Northeast over the top of my blind just 10 or 15 minutes before daylight. I had hunted until about 10 that morning and when my wife returned to camp I told her, it kind of happened again this morning. Then I told her about the event. Then showed her the videos. I also requested her to set her phone camera to 10x and take a picture of the pictures I had taken. So she did and that's the pictures I am attaching. Haven't been back to the lease but one night since then, and did a quick check on the place and contined on our 25th anniversary road trip. However, over the past 11 years on the lease I have had a handful of sightings that I questioned certain lights/objects. But nothing I could really say , what is going on here? I really feel something like this will occur again. Its a pretty remote location and I actually look forward to the future posibilities. ( I think? ).
