The report, as filed
The light was a disk shape that hovered in the sky silently. It would hover for two minutes then again silently moved about 50ft directly to the side 3 times around neighbor's houses. Each time it moved it hovered for 2 minutes in one spot then move again with no sound.The object was about 100 feet above the power line. From my perspective it was twice the size of a car. The object seemed to be just a light but a shadow was visible around the light as if the light was coming out of something. After about 10 minutes the object shot straight up in the sky, silently again, very high into the sky. As it shot directly up in the sky it created a light so bright that resembled welding light. It was so bright it could of damaged your eyes. We had to look away. Once we looked back up, after the light was gone, it sat for a second in the upper atmosphere and went diagonaly to side then disappeared.
