Light over Semmes, AL
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
I was driving on schillinger rd s towards Howells ferry rd. I stopped in traffic between the intersection of tanner Williams rd and old shell rd. I saw a bright white light around 6:50 am 7:00 am. It made a complete circle and faded off into a straight line before disappearing. The whole encounter lasted maybe 15/20 seconds. I didn't think much of the situation at first because it was next to a coast guard base. But after thinking about it I became more concerned it was something else.
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #172736). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.
Ask for the records
What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

We saw approx 6-8 small red lights low in the sky, evenly spaced apart and moving very slow from left to right. The lights all faded out but not all at once. It was amazing to watch. Source provides no contact information. PD

I saw a star-sized light emerge over a tree-line approximately 30 ft from me (trees about 30-50 feet tall). ((NUFORC Note: ISS. PD))
