The report, as filed
Was stopped at a red light, intersection of Pond Path and Nichols road in Lake Grove/Stony Brook, NY. Saw bean shaped object over my head, silver/shiny color, hovering silently. As I made a left upon green light, the object traveled north slowly along my right while I drove north on Nichols road. As I approached Stony Brook hospital, I noticed another one but was much higher in sky. I recorded the object briefly with my iPhone as I was stopped at the intersection. I thought it was a balloon at first, but then was puzzled as the object didn’t seem to change shape. I checked weather when I got home to see the wind was blowing from the northeast, so the objects were traveling into the wind.

There was a big ship shaped flying object hovering overhead. It was very loud and sounded like a drone, but bigger and louder. It had 1 or 2 white lights and 1 red light. It did not look like a plane or helicopter. It was moving very slowly in the same area for about 20 minutes, then flew away quickly. There were other what looked like smaller drones flying about as well toward the end. [NUFORC annotation: Aircraft - Probable]
