I was walking my dog in my front yard. I looked up to see a bright white light/object traveling west to east, far away. There was an airplane flying overhead as well, with it's blinking lights clearly visible. The object I saw was much brighter than the airplane and looked far away - all I could make out was a bright, white light. The sun was setting but it was not completely dark yet; the outline of the plane was still visible. Some stars were lightly visible. I watched the light travel from west to east, at first looking like a straight pattern, but all the sudden jumping off it's course and then all of the sudden back on it's original course. A modern plane could not have made the maneuver, it was a rapid acceleration/jump. The light eventually passed behind the treeline and I lost visibility of it. The time was exactly 8:20 PM because I texted my girlfriend right after and looked at the time stamp.

West Milford, NJ

At 5:46 AM I saw a bright white light traveling northwest to southeast while in my front yard, walking my dog. It did not have blinking lights, just bright white. The sky was still dark as the sun had not yet risen. Other stars, such as Orion's belt, were still visible. This light was as bright as the brightest star in the sky. The flight path originally looked straight, but I soon noticed it swerving, like a car in a 3 lane highway swerving between lanes. I have seen this at least 2 other times now, all exhibiting the same characteristics. It appeared very far away, no details about the shape could be seen, only that it was a bright light.
