My youngest noticed “weird planes” in the north, we were out star watching w/ binoculars, hoping to see aurora - there had been a classX prediction. We saw this instead. It was unexpected. I turned my binoculars onto these “planes” & they were disappearing & reappearing- they were the color of Mars or alderbaran. Orange-pinkish but very bright. They were doing a long elliptical circuit and we were at a narrow end as they would appear at about 338 degrees NNW go to about 28 degrees NNE & then disappear behind something large & invisible. This went on for hours. Sometimes it looked like one light would get bright & then spit 2 or 3 dimmer lights out and then they would get very bright and then bumble over each other to the NNE. Round and around. Sometimes we’d see sparks around them- we weren’t sure if those were very distant plane strobes. We saw planes fly over these craft - not sure if the pilots saw them or not. We have had several other experiences on Aug 23, Aug 26, Sept 29th- but this was the longest one. Transcription from journal that night: Aug 18/19 1139 pm -135 am “I saw orange rotating lights (UFOs) over the Northern quadrant I’d the sky over my neighbor’s house for several hours almost until 2 am. Commercial aircraft flew thru the sea would been below the lights so not sure if anyone saw them. I estimate they were above I-44-Sooner road interchange area broadly- over Jones/Luther. It looked as though these lights were on a circuit making a long oval with the narrow end where we could see. This phenom was witnessed with the naked eye and binoculars. The lights were tangerine color - saw up to 5 parts at a time. I’ve read that similar lights have been witnessed over Shawnee and Edmond -all the way back to the 1960s. They had zero strobes no red or green lights , sometimes one light appeared to split into several lights. We came in after hearing something crash in the trees behind the house several times- we believe that was an owl with its kill- because something clacked it’s jaw or beak at me from the brush which is owl behavior. It spooked us so we stayed in after that. The lights were intermittent with long pauses for their return on the circuit. We had originally been hoping to see aurora borealis because we had a solar mass ejection and a solar storm. So this was unexpected. They looked like displays of UFOs on Disclose and other videos. I haven’t reported it. There was Much nuclear saber rattling with Russia recently so this makes me think something was up. And that the risk of Nukes is genuine since UFOs are historically known to make appearances when nuclear disasters are possible. This does not thrill me.” —————————————————- I was unable to get photos or video - the lights were too small and far away in the dark.
