While standing outside object was seen moving from the north to the south at a consistent speed. Object was an amber sphere or oval that seemed to glow. Object was observed moving from the north in a south-southwest direction.

I was walking my dog, and noticed what I thought for a moment was an airplane, but it was all lit and had a tail behind like a jet would have. But it was very bright unlike an airplane. I kept watching it, then it was coming down at an angle. So I thought it was a meteor. But then it made a sharp angle to the right. After a few seconds more it disappeared.
