Light over Tijuana, BAJA CAL · Mexico

Myself and another soldier were monitoring the Mexico border on and near the top of Otay mountain and I was pointing out locations in Tijuana when a bright light which was idle a moment before appeared to start dropping suddenly in the shape of a bright propulsion like crescent. The color was a extremely radiant blue or aqua. We thought it may have been a meteor till it banked roughly 45 degrees away from us making the crescent shape turn from us and flatten out parallel to the ground, the color spectrum was blue then took on hints of purple then green. We watched the crescent energy like wave undergo the sharp banking move very clearly with a radiance of light before it disappeared entirely. We watched for over an hour and didn’t see it reoccur. It was a still quiet night and we heard no noise but we can clearly hear the commercial planes taking off from the Tijuana airport which is located behind the sighting location and further away at any other time. The size of the light was also baffling the arc was easily the width of 2-3 buildings at the distance we seen it and the length of the furthest center point was easily the same distance. Kinda resembled an energy blade from the video game Halo but the point (pointing opposite the direction of movement) only being as long as the crescent was wide.
