A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
My roommate and I were waiting to see a possible meteor shower. About 2am we saw a lightning bug color green object that made no sound zip past us about 1000 ft above us traveling north east. It was faster than a plane or helicopter but not too fast that we couldn't keep up with it. It wasn't blinking. Just a solid color green like a lightning bug color green. We are about 10 min from military base.
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #168431). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

This morning around 5:30 am, we were outside & watched a procession of dots/”stars” come across the sky. There was 40-50 of them (we didn’t count, so the total number is unknown). We stood watching them for maybe 10 minutes, I went & woke my daughter up to come outside & watch. She was outside with us for another 10-15 minutes. I can only liken them to satellites but closer than any I’ve seen. They were evenly spaced out, & continuous. There was a couple times when there seemed to be a slight delay before they started up again (maybe a couple extra seconds). During this, there was maybe 5 or 6 that were off to the side as if “escorting” them. ~ I really don’t know how to describe it, I do know I've never seen anything like it.

I am a Federal Police Officer, Aberdeen Proving Grounds,MD. Last weekend in March 2019 I was on nightshift. I parked my patrol car along the seawall of the Gunpowder River facing North-Northeast, stopped to fill out paperwork and a coffee. The weather was generally clear with hazy area on the horizon. Earlier in the evening Army National Guard UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters had been flying from the nearby airfield passing over the same area conducting "touch and go" passes. Flight ops had ceased about 2030(8:30pm). I can also observe flight traffic inti Glenn Martin State Airport across the river. I have been an aviation enthusiast all my life, I KNOW conventional aircraft. Also have flight some flight training approximately 20 years ago in single engine Cessna 152. I happened to glance up through my windshield and an angular triangle/wedge/chevron shaped "craft" seemed to appear as if from behind a cloud of which there were none. It moved w! ith absolute silence from right to left for a few seconds before disappearing the same way. It was seemed triangular or wedge shaped, difficult to tell precisely. The blunt end seemed to be the front as there was a bright white "landing light". A single red light toward the "front" was visible and a few dim white lights strung along. Again, NO SOUND. I am familiar with the engine & rotor blade sounds. The Blackhawk at that altitude would have made quite a racket. It was approximately 3 inches long held at arm's length and traveled about 6 inches. I have only confided with one other co-worker and that was recently. I have hesitated to make any sort of official report for the obvious reasons. I have also tried to convince myself that I saw a UH-60 returning late as the red position light would have been in about that same spot, but my professional training and experience and "gut" feeling says no. I do not seek publicity of any sort and consider m! yself an "open minded skeptic" on such matters. I just want to know what I saw.

Bright flashes of light in the sky with no reports of thunderstorms in the area. The characteristics of the lights highly resembled lightning but like there are more reported thunderstorms in the area. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

As I would stare at the object it it appeared to give off other colors of light, the object yet small seemed to pulsate. I lost interest, but went out again about 20 minutes later, and the object was still in the exact same spot. After this point about every 20 minutes or so, I would check on the object and it was still sitting there stationary. This went on for about 90-120 minutes before I ended up going to bed. The last time I checked on the object it did however drop a little in the sky, closer toward earth where it still hovered. Tonight, 8-4-14 I went out to check the same location, but nothing is there. It could not have been a star because I would see that star, and also it was a little big to be a star. Obviously it was not a plane since the object stayed stationary for so long. Can someone else please post if you saw the same thing Sunday night. Thank you.

I'm outside the front of my house in the street listening to Frank Ocean and I'm dancing by myself with my dog and I look up and my dogs looks up as well I can't move I see something in the sky and it looks like a plane but it's not moving and it has the green lights that a plane usually has and I'm staring at it and it then moves extremely fast zooming so fast that it appears to be a flash of white light and then it's gone.
