I was in my car driving on my way to my house . I got a block away and my security system triggered an alert! It triggered the alert as if a person was detected at my front door. I slowly drove closer to my house looking on my phone to check the front door camera. When i didn't see anyone, I pulled in front of my house and stopped. I rechecked the camera again. I saw this quick moving dot that i had seen before and chalked it up to a firefly. After i got into my house, My daughter called me and said i got an alert at my house. We tried to figure what it was. We chalked it up as a lazer. I said maybe it was a clear laser. I never told her it could have been a firefly because it was like invisible when I came into my house.

I went out on my back kitchen porch as my coffee was brewing to take a look at the moon and predawn sky... Looking up at the 1/2 moon and red star(Mars I assume) nearby I noticed a dot(light) moving in an East Southeast direction between the moon and the red star(Mars)... The direction of the object was unusual as it is not a regular flight path of commercial aviation from my regular observations... There were no blinking lights or other typical aircraft identification signals; no jet exhaust sounds; just a dot of light moving East Southeast... So I assumed it was very high in the sky or orbital... I watched the object, moving at a steady speed, for about 15 seconds when it seemed to stop, blink red, and disappear... The blink of red was followed, I think, by a momentary fade; a millisecond, to orange, before disappearing... I thought it might be an orbital rocket whose booster fired however there was no visible separation of the object into 2 parts or visual evidence there of... And after the object blinked red it just vanished... I checked online regarding rocket launches and there was one reportedly planned, by China, for a launch 3 hours prior to my sighting. Perhaps that is what I saw; the booster firing to lift the 2nd stage into higher orbit... I don't know if that is what I witnessed. but it was something so unusual that I thought I should report it...

I was driving home with my boyfriend around 9:30PM from my Aunt’s house on September 22, 2016, after her birthday celebration. I was sitting in the back of the car because the front seat had boxes on it. As I was sitting in the back my boyfriend said, “Look at that plane.” I had no clue what he was talking about, since he said it was over top of our car and not in my view. I did not pay attention to what he was saying, because I could not see anything. Next thing you know, I just looked out the side window from where I was sitting and saw this massive object in the sky. I just had this feeling in my gut; something was off and strange about this object. It was shaped as if it had three missiles attached in a triangular formation. It was black and blended into the night sky. The object had this blinding bright light just at the nose of it not moving. It had appeared to look like a stealth fighter shape my boyfriend stated. It was extremely low to the ground; it was hovering right above the top of the trees. I was confused and I had this weird feeling. I thought my boyfriend was joking about what he was seeing, but when we rolled down the windows it was completely silent and moving extremely slow, hovering just at the top of the trees as I looked up at it. There was something eerie about it and I just can’t stop thinking about it. I am not sure if what I saw was anything, but I just know something hovered by tonight over the top of our car that I cannot fully explain and unidentified. Background of Observers: 24 year old female, BA in Psychology, and studying for my Master's of science in School Counseling. 27 year old male, Associates in liberal arts, and studying for BA in Computer science/Software developer.
