The report, as filed
My husband and I were looking eastward in the sky. It was approximately 8 or 9 pm. Suddenly four bright lights appeared in the sky. They appeared from nowhere and were very bright and big - about a third to a half the size that the full moon would appear in the sky. The lights wavered somewhat and they each appeared to be a slightly different color. Then they wavered and then lights went out. There was no noise of any kind to indicate aircraft. The lights were present for about six seconds. We discussed what we had seen and we both saw the same thing. I later told a friend about it and she said her friend had seen the same thing over Cloudcroft New Mexico about 23:00 hours.

Unidentifiable bright lights as seen in Alto, NM, on Thursday, July 6, 2017, at approximately 21:00 to 22:00 hours. On a clear night, Thursday, July 6th, 2017, there was a bright light that was then joined by two other bright lights, on either side of the original. This taking place for approximately 1 to 2 minutes. Then disappearing. We were visiting friends at their home in Alto, NM. They had shared with us that they had seen these lights on the previous evening. There was no sound accompanied by the lights. Their shape was more triangular than circular. Beginning lighter and then becoming brighter before distinguishing completely.

I was drawn outside by the sound of military jets flying high and fast above my neighborhood. I stepped out to a second floor deck and spotted the triangle in the west. The triangle had evenly spaced round white lights on all three edges, a red light was visible in the center. It was being followed by a cluster of blinking and brilliant pinpoint white lights, it was all really quite beautiful. As the lights were blinking it was difficult to count the number, but it seemed to be between five and seven. All of these lights and the triangle in the lead were headed southeast, as well as the sound of the jets that seemed to be following. If I held my arm straight and placed a quarter between my thumb and forefinger that would approximate the size of the triangle in the night sky.

11:40 p.m., June 10, 2015. As I set outside on deck of my home in Alto, NM. My attention was drawn to the noise of a military jet flying low, just west of my location. To my amazement, I saw that the fighter jet was trailing 4 to 5 brightly lighted objects, but by no means could the jet keep up with the objects. At that time I saw several other jet engaging what seemed to be over 15 to 30 or more objects moving in and around toward the west then toward the south and then back toward Ruidoso, NM, then the jets and objects moved toward the north east. The jets in pursuit of the objects flew off toward north east of Ruidoso, NM, out of my view.
