The report, as filed
I'm a trucker. I was on my route from Sacramento, CA to Reno, NV on I-80 eastbound. While going up the grade near Yuba Gap, I saw this large object flying along the ridgetop about a half mile ahead of me. When I first saw it, it was above the treeline. For about 5 to 10 seconds, it was traveling North at about 50 or 60mph while descending below the treeline and disappearing. The object looked to be larger than a jetliner. It was dark, so I'm not sure what color it was. But it was diamond shaped and had multiple orange lights around the edges. Is it alien, or man made? I'm not sure, but I've never seen anything like it. Nor have I seen anything defy gravity like that. Seemed to be too large to go that slow without falling out of the sky.
