The report, as filed
We have a giant expanse of sky at the back of the house. I look up to see an object moving at a very fast speed as I stepped closer to the window I begin to really notice it's shape very oval shaped, fairly fat in the middle, no wings! It didn't look like it was solely made of just one metal, hard to explain, but it looked like it had an aura around it. It was moving east to west and in a perfectly horizontal line, it was neither ascending or descending. It passed into cloud cover and at the speed it was traveling it should have been in the clearing blue sky within a few seconds! Nothing came out the other side and that is what's really puzzling to me. I know it wasn't a plane, I saw it long enough to know that, but whatever it was, at that speed, height and trajectory it had to by our law of physics come out the other side of the cloud cover, but nothing did.
