Sphere over Maidenhead · United Kingdom
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
Yesterday, my neighbour and I saw a line formation of about 10 to 12 bright stars moving West East in exact distance from each other and speed, once each star reached a specific point in the sky, it disappeared. This happened one by one to all of them.
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #161247). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

The light moved slowly across the sky in a straight line but then disappeared from a bright star like object into nothing in a about 5 seconds. If moved across the sky for about a minute in a straight line, I thought it was just a plane but there were no flashing lights. There were no clouds in the sky and I could see the stars, but this was lower - the oddest thing was that it disappeared from a bright object into nothing after about 5 seconds. Very odd. If it was a satellite then I assume it would not disappear like it did, because it would move across the sky, but this was lower and brighter.
