The report, as filed
On night drive with kids, joked about object hovering in sky blinking red and white for nearly an hour when we suddenly came within maybe a couple hundred yards. Hovering low, grew into a large ball of light then appeared to shrink. Upon getting close it was disc shaped with blue lights. Have video! Turned around to find it again and within a matter of minutes it was miles away but still visible until it suddenly disappeared.
