Light over Blackwell, PA
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
Observed 2 separate objects at different times while camping in Penn. Faceing NNW. Objects appeared to be rocket burns. The first occurred approx 9:30pm heading east to west facing NNW. The light was orange and flickered more recently as it flamed out. Speed was rocket launch speed. Clearly not a meteor. I fact the first object made a a turn and faded. Surprisingly there was a second object that had a more direct trajectory and burned longer. Eventually flicker out. I have video of the second object. I have researched to see of possible launches That may of occurred that night. Nothing so far. Was it military...? I would think the boosters would have landed upon land based on the location of the trajectory. Interesting mystery... I have seen rocket la7nhes before. But not two within 10-15 mins that we’re not scheduled..
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #159480). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
