The report, as filed

Was speaking with a neighbor (avid celestial observer) outside at around 20:40, when neighbor noticed and pointed out an orange object in the air. It mas moving slowly moving from NE to N direction. A moment later of watching, three other similarly oriented objects appeared to be rising in a vertical line and moving from NE to N. I then urgently called my husband from inside the house to look. There was no sound, they glowed for possibly a few minutes and then faded out completely. I took pictures of them. While sky lanterns are illegal in Maryland. While the neighbor, husband and I were both shocked at the observation, the neighbor does not believe they were UFOs, suspected that they were sky lanterns.

Riverdale Park, MD

I was 15 years old, in a house, and visiting my family. I was told that we'll be leaving soon, so I could go out to the car and sit inside while my parents chatted since I was just standing and waiting. I walked outside into the yard, and then I looked around. I looked to the left. I saw an object. I was startled because it looked like someone with an ability to do moral and not moral things created it or was in control of it. It seemed like it was waiting for me to come out the house. When I came out into the yard it was facing me with it's arms behind it's back. Eyes facing me. No one else was around. It stood there and stared at me. It was at night and there wasn't any clue about it's business being there. The object was shaped like a person, but had no legs. It wasn't perfectly person-shaped. It had a shape that outlined a person. It was symmetrical. Right side reflected the left of the object symmetrically. It was not close to an actual outline of a person. There were no points to distinguish the upper body from the lower body except the arms, the neck, and the head. Upper body and lower body was all the same width. The neck, head (including the eyes), and arms all had smaller width than the rest of the body. The neck isn't clearly defined. The head looked as if it could go at a horizontal if the lower body bended. The head didn't look like it could do a head roll or tilt to any side. The glowing eyes doesn't blink because there are no eye lids. The very bottom of the object is faded. It doesn't touch the sidewalk, but it is close to touching it. The arms were behind the back. It had a neck. The front of the head didn't protrude the neck. The head was bigger. The head was smaller than the rest of the body except the neck. The eyes were symmetrical and small or what an eye size should be in relation to a real person's face. The lower part of the object was much longer than the upper part. It was more longer than what lower body length of a real person would be. The pitch black body, the time of sighting, and no sign language or anything to explain what is happening made me feel threatened. I viewed it while I was in the yard of a house. The house I was at is elevated on a hill. The object was below the hill and at least 152inches away and the sidewalk was on the same side of the street as the house I was at. It was to the left in relation to the house. It was on my left. House lights in the neighborhood are on. The street lights are on. The object was near a light pole or street light. It was very quiet. I felt a strange sensation. The object was very tall. Maybe 8 or 9 foot tall. I felt a pulling force. I felt as if I couldn't do anything else besides approach the object which I didn't want to. I resisted and walked back to the house. I was hoping I could reach it and go back inside without anything strange happening to prevent me from going back in. I couldn't talk about it with anyone. Why would they believe me.
