Light over Marble, CO
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
Was looking at brighter star in SW sky 1030 mountain time. Finger width away to the west noticed a "star" was shining but not like a regular star flickering. It was quickly flashing like lightning at random intervals and went completely dark between the fast flashes. After a few minutes a couple finger widths away to the west there was a single flash of light and both anomalies were gone . It looked like these were far out there (not planes or drones) and were stationary, not moving like satellites . I live in remote area with no light pollution and am aware of tumbling satellites.
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #157635). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.
Ask for the records
What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
