Light over Iowa Park, TX
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
Last night I stepped out on porch looked up North West direction and it looked like a string of white lights evenly spaced apart from my view began about the height of the telephone pole upward in a linear arched manner. The lights were moving in a line toward the half moon sitting due west of my home, then one by one disappeared into the darkness. The skies were mostly clear few wispy clouds from few miles east of my home to the west. However, east of this area was thunder storm lightning event that was moving south east. I’ve never seen anything like this before and was wondering if they were launching satellites or something. Wish I’d had my phone out there with me. I’m an educated person in the health field we live outside city limits slightly where ther a no city lights interfering with star gazing. I’m certain I’m not the only person to have observed these lights it was extraordinary it caught my eye. I’ve never seen or reported anything like this before. You may contact me if needed/confirm if others saw these lights too.
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #155918). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

As I was out checking my livestock I looked to the NW and saw a line of what appeared to be stars moving to the SE. I immediately called upon one of my friends to look out and make sure I wasn’t crazy. By the time From the point I began counting there were 19 total. As they reached just beyond the vanish point of the moon they disappeared. By the time my friend saw what I was looking at there were only four remaining and the same result. Just vanished. We assumed satellites but never have I seen a formation as such. I tried to take a photo with my phone but all that appeared was the moon.
