Light over SÃO PAULO (Brazil) · Brazil

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

At approximately 1:30 AM in the Santa Cecília district of São Paulo capital in the state of São Paulo, Brasil, two red lights were in place vertically. The light remained extremely high and fixed at a point. However, after some time, the lower light lowered at a minimum distance from the top. This phenomenon continues to occur for 15 minutes and disappeared with the presence of clouds, continuing to analyze the sky and nothing else occurred. The red would fade in and out from red to white at times. Finally, it withdrew with an explosion of light, as those that are not explainable as anything similar to a satellite or lyma-alpha ball which is either man-made or natural from Earth's rotations. After around 30 minutes, the lights made a loud, explosive sound similar to a rocket-like noise. Then, they disappeared. The lights were not head to tail, but exactly vertical. The exact distance from our location is impossible to determine, but it was somewhere between the center-west of São Paulo in the northern direction of São Paulo, possibly the city centre. No photo or video was obtained, but if there are others who saw the same phenomenon, please share.

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #154959). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

What would the paper say?

Brazilian Air Force UFO records, including the Operação Prato files, are released under the Lei de Acesso à Informação. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
