Disk over Oberlin, OH

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

Saw at 3 a.m. what I assumed to be a plane with red and white lights on it flying about a mile away. It stopped though within view of my window and up until 5:30 when I fell asleep it stayed within view moving in short random movements (up, down, right , left and so forth). I then woke up at 6:50 due to a noise and I looked at that area and the Craft was gone. However two classic shaped ufo crafts (saucers) with white lights surrounding the whole craft went by my window within a blink of an eye. It too fast for me too see anything inside and I don’t know if it ever came back as I covered my windows after this incident as it was terrifying to me.

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #161932). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
