The report, as filed
My wife and me were traveling to Flippin AR from our home South of Mountain Home. I noticed a very bright orange/white light stationary in the S/W sky. We only lost sight of it a few minutes at a time due to curves in the road or trees. When we got to the Flippin bypass there was nothing to obstruct our view and it was very clear. It was then we noticed it got brighter and seemed to pulse. I slowed way down to better observe. It suddenly split in two! The top light flew straight up and disappeared! The bottom light went down disappeared then quickly came back on to the right of where it had been before, then disappeared. We caught sight of it again for a brief moment way off in the distance.
