The report, as filed
Light was observed on Edisto Island off the coast of SC. I was traveling south to north and was roughly100-200 ft in the air. It would travel north then circle out to the west and then reappear further south and perform the same pattern, slowly and methodically getting further from view. It seemed to have only one forward facing light as when I made its turn, the light faded away.

Taking pictures at Botany Bay on South Carolina coast we noticed a light which appeared in some photos but not all of the same scene. Light appeared to be moving in live pictures and then disappears.

While sitting on the back porch overlooking the water on the evening of October 22, 2020 at 19:13, I noticed what appeared to be a single very bright yellow stationary light above the tree line. At first look, it appeared as a brightly lit planet (Jupiter) during ideal viewing conditions. It was rather large (very noticeable) and it resembled the brightness of a planet but the sky wasn’t quite dark enough to see such brightness from a planet and its location ruled out the possibility for it to be a planet. I grabbed my binoculars and was astonished to see upon focusing, that the single bright light I saw actually appeared as 4 large yellow lights with flashing red lights in between. It remained stationary as I observed and then the lights changed to a vertical or north south position and the flashing red lights disappeared while the four yellow lights I had initially seen changed to 5 or 6 solid yellow lights (I was unable to confirm 5 or 6 because it start! ed moving off to the right in this position and faded out of my view.) No sound could be heard (such that would be associated with an airplane.) Reflecting back, the whole viewing lasted (given that I had time to get up and take my binoculars from their case and adjust them) about 2-3minutes. I am a college educated healthcare professional (nurse) and my husband, a physician, witnessed this with me while having dinner on the porch.

Over the ocean, there were three singular lights which eventually joined together. Once joined together and amazingly bright white light pulsated across the sea and in an instant, the unusual, now joined lights vanished.

Over the ocean, initially saw a flashing light that split into three distinct objects before quickly coming back to the apex. We continued watching as the light blinked across the sky for 4-7 minutes before emitting a brilliant white light. The light was so bright I looked away, but when looked back the night was still and there were no lights in the sky aside from the stars.
