Light over Winfield, WV
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
Me and my girlfriend were outside stargazing for about 4 hours. We immediately noticed there were an abnormal amount of planes in the sky, many being in very close proximity. Around 11 o clock, I saw a white object appear out of nowhere and streak through the sky before disappearing. It happened again 15 minutes later, this time we both saw it. We saw it two more times before we went inside. Never seen anything like it.
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #148287). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
