Light over Lebanon, ME

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

Saw what seemed to be stars in the night sky, however these “stars” were lined up and moving in a straight line. It’s unknown as to how many there were, there was not enough time to count before they disappeared behind the cover of trees. I would say it was at least 15 of these lights moving in a tight single file line all close together except for 3 in the back that were farther back and more spread out than the others. However they all appeared to be in a straight line moving the same direction. Unfortunately my phone was dead but I don’t believe it would have been able to capture it without a better lens anyway. I’ve never seen anything like this, especially in Maine, but I could not find a reasonable explanation as to what could cause this. Space Link satellites. PD

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #146365). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
