Light over Atlanta (downtown), GA
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
Stuck in downtown Atlanta morning traffic going 75 north, a blue light appears out of no where and darts across the dark sky. The light was bouncing up and down as if it was loosing control. Looked like someone’s headlight in the sky except it was a blue foggy light. Looked like the light was coming from behind clouds. Happened so fast all I could say was wowwww. Was not a plane. The light was to big and bouncing up and down while traveling at an unexplainable speed then disappeared out of nowhere.
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #145397). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.
Ask for the records
What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
