Light over Great Glen, Leicester, CITY OF · United Kingdom
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
I went out in my garden for a cigarette around 8:00pm, at 8:05pm i noticed something, like it almost dropped slowly out of the sky, kind of like a bright star. It was far to low to be a plane, and far to bright to be a drone! It started moving, quite slowly across the sky, that's when I got phone out and started to record, it went out of my sight, so I then rang my parents who live about a 5 minute car journey away, to see if they could see it, which they could! My Father got his camera out with a really good zoom and said that it was two "things" next to each other. He sent me the pictures, which I have on my phone, plus the recording I have. Not the greatest of quality video but good enough. I have told a few people but everyone thinks I'm mad. Then 4 years later, I stumble upon this website. Cheers

What would the paper say?
UK sighting reports were handled by the MoD's UFO desk until 2009; later records answer to the Freedom of Information Act 2000, earlier files sit at the National Archives. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
