She popped up and instantly saw what at first to me had looked like a very bright Mars but by the time she got up and was observing it it had doubled in magnitude. You could see all the other stars in the sky around it which had there normal bluish color but this was orange red and it began pulsing. We both were in amazement as to what it was. It remained stationary. After several minutes of it getting progressively brighter, all of a sudden it got very bright then completely just vanished. It did not fly away but just went out. I am a retired school teacher and my wife a real estate agent and are rational people but this was as clear as it could be. We have not seen! anything like it before over the ocean at night here at our beach home. Unexplainable both of us felt as if it knew we were watching it and disappeared, but then again we do believe in life on other planets but this took us by surprise. And all the facts of the visual observation are facts but the feeling part we understand is subjective however it was very strange feeling watching it just disappear when all the backdrop of stars remain plenty bright. All our electric went out. I got up and looked out the window. I seen 3 orbs flying around the lake in back of house. Then I seen to my left seen like a flashlight and then light all of suddenly changed to bright and I could see all across the lake. Next day asked my neighbor if she seen anything. She said no. I noticed 3 flood lights on her dock. I asked about them. She said they don't work. When I left I thought UFOs can make them work.

Looking in the direction of Cassiopeia at 10:12 PM with a completely clear sky I witnessed at least 5 lights arranged in a V almost half circle formation with an additional 2 lights; one taking a position in the front moving from left to right (north south) and back to the other end of the formation whilst the other light following in the rear copied this motion but in an opposing manner ( if the front light was at the north end the rear would be in the south) . The manner in which these 2 oscillating light flew was too perfect, they did not alter their path. Only a guard of the tomb of the unknown soldier can move like that. This formation flew very quickly from west to east rapidly reaching the horizon. Before the 1st formation disappeared from sight a second formation of at-least 5 lights in a more compact V formation entered the sky at the same location as the initial formation and followed the same path across the sky in-front of cassiopeia until reaching the horizon. The speed at which these lights flew across the sky exceeds any ISS transit and Satellite I have seen in the night sky. The best way to describe the individual lights is to compare them to the stars in the background night sky, if they suddenly stopped moving they would look like new stars in the sky. My thoughts, 1st wave aliens, second wave maybe fighter jets. This happened at a very popular beach and the movement was too quick and and lasted too long for me to be the only one to witness it, I can only hope. Thank you.

It was late in the evening but still light out. From my front deck I looked up at the sky and saw 10 to 15 lights or maybe orbs. The sky was mostly clear with a light blue background. I live on the beach and was shocked to see all of those lights together but each was one was slowly moving on its own and all were coming over my house heading SW in like a group. I watched them slowly move SW maybe towards Portland. I am 78 years old and and they sure got my attention!

I did manage to take some pics on my phone and when I zoomed in on the pics when I got home, I noticed some odd results. There was some other odd occurrences also around this time. A huge ship that was close to the beach all the sudden was gone, which was off because they don't move that fast, a small prop plane was flying around and then all the sudden was gone and there was a commercial looking airplane flying over around that time and just seemed to be gone. Those things didn't seem to be too weird at the time but with the UFO sighting, it was a very eerie moment. It was like " Wait, what?", "What the heck is going on right now?!" kind of moment.

((name deleted)) Date of encounter: October 11, 2016. Location: Ocean Shores Wa. Time: 1:35 PM We had just passed the Quinault Casino and state park on the main road to the Town of Ocean Shores when my wife noticed a object in the sky. The sky was clear with no clouds in the sky. The object was white and had a strange tail but the way this thing was positioned in the sky the tail was going almost straight up which should have had the object going down but it seemed to be going south from us, and not losing any altitude, just moving away from us and getting smaller and smaller until it just disappeared. I am a Air Force vet and my job was airborne radar and this was no airplane or balloon. You could clearly see that the object was round with this funny tail. The outline of the object was very clear with no lights or identifying marks on it. The sighting lasted about 1 ½ minutes until is was gone. It did not disappeared over the horizon it just got smaller until it was gone remaining high in the sky. Thank You
