Sphere over Mc Alpin, FL
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
March 15, 2019. About 8:30 P.M. (dark), my mother, husband and myself were sitting outside our cabin south of Live Oak, Florida, but addressed to McAlpin, FL, when my mother noticed a VERY large glowing orange sphere in the sky. There was no sound with it and it was moving very slowly in what appeared to be a northerly direction. My husband and I wanted to get a better look, so we got up and walked to the middle of our driveway. The object hovered for a few seconds while we were in our driveway and it seemed as though when it knew we saw it, it vanished. There was still no sound. The sighting couldn’t have lasted more than a few minutes. None of us have seen anything like this
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #145205). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.
Ask for the records
What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
