The report, as filed
My friend and I were driving home and we noticed a bright light in the shape of a circle, moving slowly and then about half a second later moved faster than anything I’ve ever seen before and went away in the distance. I got home and my mom pulled in right behind us and I said something to her and see saw the exact same thing. At first we thought it could of been a star because we thought no way we just saw something like that, but we then came to realization that maybe we did. It is also cloudy out right now and you can’t even see the stars that well and it was a lot lower than the clouds.

I was driving home, headed towards Wiscasset, when I noticed a light up and to the left. As I was watching, the white light came down quickly in a straight line at approximately a 30 degree angle. It went from being a hot white color to being neon green with a hot white tail. The object was directly in front of me when it suddenly disappeared. There was no impact, or debris in the air, it just vanished. This object was below the nearest tree line and estimated to be about the size of basketball.
