Finally after about 20-30 seconds of amazement, the lights did a quick fade to sky. my friend's house is on tucker road and the lights appeared to be somewhere over fayetteville.

I was thinking they were stars possibly, but there wasn't any other stars in the sky. So I got my phone out to snap a picture. I had trouble getting focused while I was driving and while I was in the process of trying to get focused, the bottom light started to move rapidly away from triangle shape it was positioned in. Then after it moved pretty far across the sky, I vanished in the air.
