The report, as filed
This sighting occurred on 4/30/2018, approximately 2230 hrs., in North West Las Vegas, Nevada. I was looking out my window at the sky and surrounding hills. I saw what I thought might be an airplane, high up; maybe 200 feet. It was solid red in color. It moved toward my house, in an eastward direction. It then stopped in the air and stayed there for approximately 45 seconds. It then seemed to move away toward the sky and the image evaporated or disappeared skyward. On July 4th of 2017 at lower elevation, a red orb appeared about 150 feet from our home...stayed stationary, then flashed brighter two or three times and then took off over the top of the hills in the distance.
