The report, as filed
I am a truthful person, with my friend from church this night. We both saw the same thing I was driving home with a friend from Church, looking to my left (West) to see if the road was clear, I saw an odd looking low hanging “Light”. I said my my friend “ WHAT IS THAT??” She saw it then & exclaimed as I did. The light was just hanging low, very bright as a star, but it had kind of “Spikes” of light, even like a “Tail” of light. But is was all light, not other color. It was too low for a star & it wasn’t moving, at least didn’t seem to be. I drove my car as I took pictures (!) then tried to find a hill unobstructed by trees & hills to take more pictures & to watch this thing. We spent probably close to an hour watching & taking pictures. Most of them were from my phone. Some videos were taken by me, as we watched it change shapes, in the videos it was pulsating a LOT. We got cold, it was late, so we reluctantly went home, When I put the pictures on my computer I got a BIG surprise. There was an object in the last few pictures of that night. It was in only 1 picture. We did not see this when we were watching. It obviously had no lights or sound ( or maybe it was too far to hear it) I can clearly see a “Craft” very close to this Light we were watching. Neither of us know what we saw, & I sure don’t know what this is on this 1 picture. I tried to edit it out, it won’t go away, so it is definitely there. A solid object that we didn’t see.

What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

While at a festival at Eden Lake I noticed a bright orange steady light in the sky that was small and it hoovered in place for nearly 35 seconds before slowly moving then it vanished completely.

Witnessed an orange, slow moving light. Was looking out my window and saw a orange colored, non blinking light floating across the night sky. Woke up my daughters to confirm what I was seeing. The object did not blink, was definitely not a helicopter. Very bright orange and moved slowly for about 2 minutes, disappeared behind the trees and did not see it again. Never seen anything like this in my life.

I am a retired community college instructor with an engineering background. I have an interest in astronomy and have built several telescopes. From 9 pm till 9; 15, I watched a very bright light (brighter than any star or planet) shimmer and vibrating low in the western sky. I live 30 miles east of Asheville. It never changed position and finally set with the surrounding stars beyond the horizon. I am an amateur astronomer and have never seen any star or planet this bright. The light flickered and shimmered but the surrounding stars did not. It was a very clear calm night, no moon, with the Milky Way quite bright. Associated with this light were smaller red, green, and blue lights that detached themselves slightly at times, The little lights seemed to blink very fast (faster than aircraft lights). The phenomenon seemed to be very far away and beyond the distant mountains a mile distant. It was unlike any light I have ever seen in the sky. It was unlikely to have been aircraft landing lights because it was stationary for over 15 minutes. As it set with the surrounding stars, I watched it through binoculars and it did not move in relation to the horizon. Even with the glasses, I could see no physical object but I clearly saw sparking, shimmering, and smaller flashes of color (almost as if it was emitting sparks). It set with the stars without changing its position with them. Note; Venus and mars had also set in the west, just after sunset (hours earlier). There were no other bright stars in the low western sky at the time of the sighting. It was a clear calm night. I live far out of town in a rural area (I cannot see any other lights or houses from my home). I enjoy a great unhindered view of the night sky. I have never seen a UFO before.

Myself and 3 others were returning from a trip to downtown Asheville at approximately 22:00. We all were looking at constellations, as I am an astrophysics major, and Astronomy is a necessary study. In between the Orion and Sagittarius constellations, I noticed two bright objects that looked like stars, but were not known stars, nor planets. These lights could have been sattelites, but I have seen moving objects in the sky here that are moving erratically before, with others. The two lights then moved slowly toward the center sky, and twisted Around each other somewhat erratically. They were very high in altitude and faint compared to Sirius, Venus, and Alpha Centauri. They then grew fainter and began to move much more quickly, then either disappeared due to speed or the lights being dimmed. Judging by their altitude as triangulated with the mountain range in the back ground. They were following the general direction of the train tracks, and moving from around 2 knots to around 870 knots from a near standstill. They retained either a linear or somewhat triangular pattern, though the two rear lights have have been one reflecting off of frost in the atmosphere, or some other atmospheric disturbance. This is not the first time I have seen these particular lights, and they are sometimes accompanied by infrasonic pitches of around 2-4 Hz or less, and sometimes a faint red center light. The dogs in the neighborhood all get very loud when the infrasound begins, and if it flies at a lower altitude they all attempt to go inside or seek other shelter. I have detected very little radio static on any frequencies from the objects, and no noticeable sound. I have yet to try radar detection.
