Oval over winooski, VT
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
object came from right side going to the left, at tree level, was white, noiseless, no wings or any other parts, just an oval white craft estimating going about only 50 miles an hour went over the highway right in front of me while I was driving southbound over the winooski bridge. I was no less than 100 feet from it, and im ex blue beret air force, ive seen pretty much every craft known in the USA arsenal. This thing also had no visible markings and even with it being that close and I could clearly see it, the edges seemed blurred for some unknown odd reason which doesn't make sense to me, as the trees past the object did not have those blurred issues, very strange.
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #170375). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.
Ask for the records
What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
