The report, as filed
A series of extremely bright orange lights appeared and reappeared at different points close to each other. Approximately 6 different lights were seen. This was the brightest, prettiest colors I have ever seen. I was traveling north on US-23 when I saw them to the west. I slowed to nearly 30mph to observe them as they put on what seemed like a show. They then all went dark. I traveled approximately 15 miles farther down the highway when they appeared again, but this time only two or three lights were there. They glowed and dimmed for approximately 30 seconds before finally disappearing not to be seen again.

I just happen to scan the sky as I often do and saw 4 lights in a triangle formation moving from West to east. As they grained altitude they begin to flash and then disappear and then another one would come up to replace the one that disappeared.

Four additional lights were observed following at random distances behind. Lights appeared to reach area over Ohio River, and then turned southwest, and in a very short distance, disappeared from sight. Clear night no cloud cover for them to disappear behind.
