Sphere over Bay Minnette, AL
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
Traveling from Gulf Shores, Alabama, to home on Highway 59 near Bay Minnette, I notice in the clear blue sky what appeared to be white birds in some type of moving formation. As they got closer it was clear it was not birds, but clear bubble like orbs with a black bar inside. There was around 15 or more of them each the size of a baseball. As they got closer to us, I pointed them out to my husband who was driving and he didn't know what they were. I grabbed my iPhone to take a quick picture and by the time my camera was ready the orbs had moved over our car and quickly disappeared. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #136843). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.
Ask for the records
What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
