Sphere over Denver (Denver International Airport), CO
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
At 1:38pm, on Friday, September 29th, 2017, I saw a number of translucent spheres flying below me, as we were 1 minute into our initial ascent above DIA. If you have a guess as to what these UFOs were, then I would love to hear from you. The objects were as follows: •8 perfectly spherical objects •Translucent with "soft" edges, unlike the defined edges of a balloon. They appeared to have the exact same texture as the surrounding clouds. •6-12 ft in diameter and all the same size •Appeared stationary, but possibly moving at low speed •Each maintained a distance of about 3x their own diameter from the next object •Arranged in no particular order or on a particular plane
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #136516). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.
Ask for the records
What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
